It is the miscalculation of this era – one that may begin the collapse of dollar primacy, and therefore, global compliance with U.S. political. But its most grievous content is that it corners the U.S. into promoting dangerous Ukrainian escalation against Russia directly (i.e. Crimea).
Washington dares not – indeed cannot – yield on dollar primacy, the ultimate signifier for ‘American decline’. And so the U.S. government is hostage to its financial hegemony in a way that is rarely fully understood.
The Biden Team cannot withdraw its fantastical narrative of Russia’s imminent humiliation; they have bet the House on it. Yet it has become an existential issue for the U.S. precisely because of this egregious initial miscalculation that has been subsequently levered-up into a preposterous narrative of a floundering, at any moment ‘collapsing’ Russia.
What then is this ‘Great Surprise’ – the almost completely unforeseen event of recent geo-politics that has so shaken U.S. expectations, and which takes the world to the precipice?
It is, in a word, Resilience. The Resilience displayed by the Russian economy after the West had committed the entire weight of its financial resources to crushing Russia. The West bore down on Russia in every conceivable way – via financial, cultural and psychological war – and with real military war as the follow-through.
Yet, Russia has survived, and survived relatively handsomely. It is doing ‘okay’ – maybe better, even, than many Russia insiders were expecting. The ‘Anglo’ Intelligence services however, had assured EU leaders not to worry; it’s ‘slam dunk’; Putin cannot possibly survive. Rapid financial and political collapse, they promised, was certain under the tsunami of western sanctions.
Their analysis represents an Intelligence failure on a par with the non-existent Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. But instead of critical re-examination, as events failed to provide confirmation, they doubled down. But two such failures are just ‘too much’ to bear.
So why does this ‘failed expectation’ constitute such a world-shaking moment for our era? It is because the West fears that its miscalculation might well lead to the collapse of its dollar hegemony. But the fear extends well beyond that too – (bad as ‘that’ would be from the U.S. perspective).
Robert Kagan has outlined how external forward motion and the U.S.’ ‘global mission’ is the lifeblood of American internal polity – more than any equivocating nationalism, Professor Paul suggests. From the founding of the country, the U.S. has been an expansionary republican empire; without this forward motion, civic bonds of domestic unity come into question.
If Americans are not united for expansionary republican greatness, by what purpose Professor Paul asks, are all these fissiparous races, creeds, and cultures in America, bound together? (Woke culture has proved no solution, being divisive rather than any pole around which unity can be built).
The point here is that Russian Resilience, at a single stroke, shattered the plate-glass floor to western convictions about its ability to ‘manage the world’. After the several western debacles centred on regime-change by military shock-and-awe, even hardened neo-cons – by 2006 – had conceded that a weaponised financial system was the only means to ‘secure the Empire’.
But this conviction has now been upended – and states around the world have taken notice.
This shock of miscalculation is all the greater because the West disdainfully had taken Russia to be a backward economy, with a GDP on a par to that of Spain. In an interview with Le Figaro last week, Professor Emmanuel Todd noted that Russia and Belarus, taken together, constitute only 3.3% of global GDP. The French historian questioned therefore, ‘how then is it possible that these states could have shown such resilience – in the face of the full force of the financial onslaught’?
Well, firstly, as Professor Todd underlined, ‘GDP’ as a measure of economic resilience is wholly “fictional”. Contrary to its name, GDP measures only aggregate expenditures.
And that much of what is recorded as ‘production’, such the over-inflated billing for medical treatment in the U.S.’ and (said, tongue in cheek) services such as the hundreds of economists’ and bank analysts’ highly-paid analysis, are not production, per se, but “water vapour”.
Russia’s resilience, Todd attests, is due to the fact that it has a real economy of production. “War is the ultimate test of a political economy”, he notes. “It is the Great Revealer”.
And what is it that has been revealed? It has revealed another quite unexpected and shocking outcome – one that sends western commentators reeling – that Russia has not run out of missiles. ‘An economy the size of Spain, the western media ask, how can such a tiny economy sustain a prolonged war of attrition by NATO without running out of munitions?’.
But, as Todd outlines, Russia has been able to sustain its weapons-supply because it has a real economy of production that has the capacity to maintain a war – and the West no longer does. The West fixated on its misleading metric of GDP – and with its normalcy bias – is shocked that Russia has the capacity to outpace NATO’s arms inventories. Russia was billed by western analysts as a ‘paper tiger’ – a label that now seems more likely to apply to NATO.
The import of the ‘Great Surprise’ – of Russian Resilience – resulting from its real economy of production vis á vis the evident weakness of the hyper-financialised western model scrabbling for sources of munitions has not been lost on the rest of the world.
There is old history here. In the lead-up to WW1, the British Establishment was concerned that they might lose the coming war with Germany: British banks tended to lend short-term, in a ‘pump and dump’ approach, whereas German banks invested directly in long-term real-economy industrial projects – and therefore were thought to be able to better sustain war materiel supply.
Even then, the Anglo élite had a quiet appreciation of the inherent frailty to a heavily financialised system for which they compensated by simply expropriating the resources of a huge Empire to finance preparation for the coming Great War.

CBDCs are in the works, but transparency and mass action can throw a huge monkey wrench into their implementation. It is important to recognize that there is a great deal that each one of us can do to take action. In a highly leveraged financial system such as we have, a single individual counts for a lot.
(1) USE CASH whenever possible—and let everyone know why you are using cash. Walk out on establishments that refuse to accept cash. Some digitization is both healthy and efficient, but an all-digital system—with regards to virtually anything—is vulnerable to central control and manipulation. Roll back your use of digital systems, avoid biometric technology as much as possible, and don’t use QR codes! Get invasive surveillance systems out of your home. Use hard-wired Internet connections, not Wi-Fi, and find other ways to Loosen Technology’s Grip on Your Mind. During the Epiphany on January 19, on Zelensky’s order, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Rada a bill banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The law is allegedly aimed at consolidating Ukrainian society. In fact, religious strife in Ukraine is nothing but undisguised nationalism.

The canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been facing pressure from nationalists since the 1990s. By 2018, this turned into a large–scale state campaign, after the Ukrainian authorities created from the schismatic organizations the so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”, a competitor of the canonical church. Today they attempt to make this fictitious nationalist entity the only church in the country.
Unable to force millions of believers to abandon their true faith, the Kiev regime began to persecute Ukrainian priests.
Churchmen are charged with treason, subversive activities, and “spreading propaganda among parishioners.” The acting Chairman of the SBU claimed at the end of December that more than 50 criminal cases had been initiated against the priests, whom he called “”moles” in cassocks”.
The prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal case against the vicar of the main Ukrainian shrine of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
In the first days of January, the two main churches of the Orthodox shrine were given to schismatics. Already on January 7, the false Metropolitan held the Christmas Service in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra for the first time.
Three thousand members of the security forces took the territory into a cordon to protect it from the parishioners of the canonical church. Only journalists and neo-Nazis in military uniforms were welcomed into the temple. Many did not even know how to pray.

On Christmas Day, Zelensky deprived 13 priests of their Ukrainian citizenship. On Epiphany, the sectarians staged another sabbath in the main shrine of Kiev. The mayor of Dnipro claimed that there will be no Epiphany dip in the city and wished the Christian citizens to drown themselves.

The Rojava Film Commune has completed shooting Evîna Kurd, a series about North and East Syria after the Rojava revolution. While telling the story of a Kurdish family in North and East Syria in 2017, the series also focuses on fundamental societal changes in the region.
Evîna Kurd (Kurdish Love), created by the Rojava Film Commune (Komîna Fîlm a Rojava), is a full length series exploring societal changes in North and East Syria since the Rojava revolution.
The series, set in 2017 and 2018, tells the story of a family whose roots go back to the era of Sheikh Said (1925), and looks at the connection between freedom and love.
Rojava Film Commune started filming in Derik in May 2022 but production was delayed due to Turkey’s military attacks against the region. Scenes were shot in many different parts of Rojava, including Al-Hasekah, Shedad, and Qamişlo, where a new branch of the commune has recently been opened.
Despite all the challenges, every individual in the society has played a role in the work, and as a result, the series is a great achievement.
“The revolution of 19 July [Rojava revolution] is not only about military changes but also about intellectual, social, political changes and the development of the role of women,” said scriptwriter Ekin Roni, underlining the series’ focus on fundamental societal changes in the region after the establishment of the autonomous administration.
Directed by Haşim Aydemir and Numan Yiğit, Evîna Kurd consists of 15 episodes and is the commune’s second series after ‘Tava Sor’ (Red Sun), released in June 2022.
Rojava Film Commune was established on July 2015 and has since produced numerous short and full-length films, as well as documentaries. The commune aims to revive the cinema culture in North and East Syria, believing that “cinema can make change” despite the challenges the region faces.

The ‘Boeing 757’ That Magically Vaporized in Shanksville on 9/11
The mystery of Boeing 757 Flight 93 at Shanksville on 9/11 reminds me of my socks: They just keep disappearing.
But not everything disappeared at Shanksville. What was found? One clean and unscathed red bandanna believed to belong to “hijacker.”
And, of course, “hijacker” “Saeed Al Ghamdi’s” Saudi Arabian passport was located.
But as for the “Boeing 757 aircraft” in Shanksville; no signs of it.
Of course, for somebody like “Bin Laden,” who could totally obliterate three sturdy tower blocks with two planes, and then manage to wipe out the accounts department in the world’s best-protected military headquarters with another, making a fourth huge aircraft completely vanish into a small hole in the ground should barely have presented a challenge. /sarc

The following video is the recording of CeeCee Lyles calling her husband while allegedly aboard Flight 93 that crashed at Shanksville, Penn., on 9/11. She speaks in a canned-sounding voice, as if reading from a script. Listen closely to second 0:35 as she whispers, “It’s a frame.” RIP.
The next video is an interview with the husband of CeeCee Lyles. The last section is of interest, as he says he checked the number of the call and could see it was from her cell phone. He then correctly observed that a cell phone call from an airliner flying at high altitudes in 2001 is not possible.
The next video clip provides some background on cell-phone technology of aircraft flying at higher altitudes in the early 2000s, as well as “debunkers” from Popular Mechanics magazine. When I finally became curious and more inquisitive about 9/11, I watched these wizards in an absurd 2009 pseudo-History Channel (owned by Hearst/Disney) documentary and was fooled into thinking “nothing to see here, move along.” I hold special disdain for these criminals, as I went back to sleep for four more years afterward. It wasn’t until 2013 that I fully woke up to the truth about 9/11.
Furthermore, readers need to be aware that the “senior researcher” for Popular Mechanics in their highly publicized debunker articles and documentary was one Benjamin Chertoff. Incredibly, this “researcher” is the cousin of Department of Homeland Security kingpin and Israel First stooge Michael Chertoff. Hearst’s top management is almost exclusively Jewish.

For the Pentagon to have been hit at by the allegedly hijacked American Airlines Flight 77, the laws of physics would have to have been repealed. Admittedly, it wouldn’t be the only time that this appears to have happened that day.
I believe that any reasonable person who is willing to look at the evidence (photo and otherwise) will have to conclude that there was not enough damage to the Pentagon for it to have been hit by a Boeing 757. Not enough damage to the building but apparently enough to vaporize the plane.
There are many elements of the official Flight 77 story that need to be picked apart. These include the inexplicable failure of air defenses, questions about the flying skills of the alleged hijackers, and why the hijackers names did not appear on any 9/11 passenger lists. In this post, we’ll start with the physical evidence.
According to Boeing’s own web site, the 757 is 155 feet, 3 inches long. It has a wing span of 124 feet, 10 inches. And it is 44 feet, six inches high at the tail. It has a capacity of 11,276 American gallons of jet fuel. Its maximum takeoff weight is 255,000 pounds. It can reach Mach 0.8 (just over 600 mph) and has a seating capacity that can range from 186 to 239 passengers. On Sept. 11, it had just 58 passengers and six crew members on board.
Flight 77 took off from Washington Dulles International Airport near Washington D.C. bound for Los Angeles at 8:20 a.m. – 10 minutes late. It is supposed to have remained airborne for one hour and 20 minutes before crashing into the Pentagon.
It is believed that the hijacking took place shortly before 8:56 a.m. because that’s when the plane’s transponder was switched off. Incredibly, the plane flew around the northeast United States – on a morning when both World Trade Center towers had been hit by hijacked aircraft – for nearly 45 minutes without fighter jets making any effort to intercept it. Jets were scrambled four minutes before it crashed but they were sent out to the Atlantic Ocean. At the time of the crash, they were farther away than they had been when they took off.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. I want to start with the crash scene.
After leaving radar and remaining out of contact for some time, the plane reappeared as it approached Washington. But hijacker Hani Hanjour, who had supposedly taken over control of the plane, didn’t fly straight at the Pentagon. Instead he initiated a 330-degree loop and hit the building on the other side.
The plane is alleged to have hit a newly renovated and reinforced part of the building that had only minimal staff present. Had any other part of the building been hit, thousands would have been killed. As it was, the death toll in the building was 125.
The hole created in the outer ring of the Pentagon by the supposed impact was less than 20 feet in diameter and was just a few feet above ground level. The upper floors, which should have been hit by the tail section of the plane remained intact. Most windows were not even broken, although the upper floors did collapse about 20 minutes after the crash.
There was no damage to either side of the 20-foot hole where the wings would have hit except a small amount of additional damage at ground level. There was no damage to the grass, which should have been gouged by the engines dragging on the ground.
All of this is physically impossible, plain and simple. The wings of a 757 can’t hit a concrete building at more than 500 mph without leaving a mark. And they certainly won’t be vaporized by exploding jet fuel.
There is NOT ONE piece of wreckage that has been positively tied to Flight 77. The engines, virtually indestructible, were not recovered.
There were no bodies, no seats, no pieces of luggage. There was a small piece of fuselage but this was big enough that one person could pick it up. There’s no proof it came from that plane.
Are you still willing to buy the idea that the plane was incinerated in the explosion? The problem there is that photos of the damaged Pentagon clearly show offices with their side wall sheared off. Visible are wooden desks with computers on them and other office furniture.
There’s even a wooden stool with an open book sitting on top of it just a foot or two from the ripped off wall.
The heat was intense enough to vaporize the plane but not hot enough to set office furniture or books on fire.
The thing that seals the deal for me is just looking at the photos. Keep in mind the dimensions of the plane. And the opening in the building was about 75 feet wide after the upper floors collapsed, and less than 20 before.
Oh, I almost forgot. The Pentagon, one of the most secure buildings in the world, was hit supposedly without one clear image being captured on a security camera.
According to the Washington Times, the heli-pad, which is very near where the impact happened, is under 24-hour surveillance.
They also report that the FBI has admitted it has 83 different videos of the crash. But all that has been released are five non-sequential frames that are totally inconclusive.
The Times also reported that the FBI confiscated footage recorded by cameras at a nearby Sheraton hotel, and from the Citgo gas station right across the street within minutes of the crash. The gas station attendant told the newspaper that the video footage would surely have shown the impact.
If a Boeing 757 hit the Pentagon, why haven’t they released clear video evidence?

And, why would the pilot go to such lengths to make sure he hit the one part of the building where there would be the least loss of life?
If you can’t answer at least these four questions, then you’re well on your way to doubting the official story. Look at the photos and make up your own mind…
