Medical activists chained themselves to the doors of the Madrid Assembly during a protest in defense of public health, according to the Twitter account of the Primary Care for All collective.
“Several people chained to the Madrid Assembly for quality Primary Care,” the group tweeted.

He also called for investing 25% of the health budget in this level of medical aid.
The group explained that the World Health Organization recommends allocating 25% of the budget for quality primary care, while “the Spanish average is 14%” and even in the Community of Madrid it reaches only 11%.
According to the account, it is the first action of the group that “advocates for peaceful action in defense of a Public, Universal and Quality Primary Care”.
