It’s no accident then that when anarchists show up on the news or elsewhere, the first thing people believe that anarchists fight for is a power vacuum – no power, no structure, nothing in it’s place.

German Government Bans Linksunten Indymedia

The German government banned the linksunten.indymedia.org website today. According to German mainstream media the decision was given to 3 alleged “operators” of the indymedia platform. German federal ministry tweeted announcing the ban of Linksunten Indymedia:

Cops raided buildings, confiscated computers but until now the cops did not made arrests. Thomas Strobl (CDU), state interior minister of Baden-Württemberg told reporters that raids in “multiple objects” are ongoing. Federal interior minister Thomas De Mazière said that Linksunten is acting against the “constitutional order”.

The federal interior ministery motivated the ban saying that the purpose and activity of the Linksunten Indymedia website: “adverse criminal laws.” All Linksunten Indymedia logos are now also banned in Germany. videos: Spanish and Finnish YPG fighters send solidarity after Barcelona and Taku ISIS attacks

Spanish YPG volunteer Şiyar Santucho has sent solidarity message to Barcelona and Cambrils, and promised ISIS defeat in Raqqa.

“We are going to fight for them. We have been fighting for all the victims of this so-called caliphate here and everywhere in the world”, says the Spanish YPG fighter in the following footage released by YPG Press Office.

Fighters from countries around the world have joined the YPG in its fight against ISIS in northern Syria.

Siyar Santucho, a fighter from Spain’s capital Madrid, said the YPG were getting very close to liberating the city of Raqqa, the Islamic State’s so-called capital. “I would like for everyone to know that it is for incidents such as the one the people of Barcelona suffered in the past few days that we are here in this city. Kemal Amed, a fighter from the Basque Country, said that he and his fellow comrades would avenge the attack against Barcelona by making sure ISIS has no haven in Syria. “ISIS is trying to cover its losses by attacking innocent civilians. We want everyone affected by the events in Barcelona to know that ISIS will pay for every atrocity they have committed.”

Undercover Police who Spy and Rape in Social Movements

There are now known to have been at least 144 undercover police spies just in Social Activist Groups in the UK, info that has come out mainly due to the heroic resistance of women who have been abused and raped by them. One lesson is to act in autonomous small groups where possible, and put no trust in macho provocateurs and manipulators. Surrey & Hampshire Group.                        A brief look at the infiltration into political groups by the Special Demonstration Squad (SDS), an undercover unit of the British police’s Special Branch. The SDS used relationships with women activists to help give credibility to their false identities which were often created with use of dead children’s names.

The first indications of how deeply undercover police had infiltrated various groups in the broad movement came with the identification of Mark Kennedy as an infiltrator. Police Constable Mark Kennedy, posing as Mark Stone, infiltrated environmental and leftist networks for approximately eight years (2001-2009) in the Nottingham area, sometimes working with another undercover spy, a women, who posed as an environmental activist.

He hosted meetings with activists in up to 23 countries including the USA, and took part in blockades, site occupations and sabotage, sometimes playing key logistical roles such as transport.

He worked as a provocateur, encouraging activists to engage in acts of violence. He was paid £50,000 a year, plus an additional £200,000 for bribes, drink, transport and travel abroad to meet other activists.”

In this period he kept up a four-year relationship with a female activist. After Kennedy’s real identity was revealed she stated that “If somebody was being paid to have sex with me, that gives me a sense of having been violated.”

As well as that relationship, Kennedy had sex with a second female activist, and it seems that he also had sex with others as well. The second female activist revealed his true identity after she discovered his passport in July 2010. Meanwhile he maintained a parallel life with a wife and two children.

International activists have confirmed his attendance at least 68 different events, some over a number of years. After his exposure, and his leaving the police, he used his inside knowledge for personal gain, establishing a series of companies thought to be private consulting firms.

The Guardian reported that he used the privileged access he gained in police infiltration campaigns to act as a “corporate spy” while still maintaining his Mark Stone alter ego. Not long after, Kennedy was working for a second spy firm in the US, Densus Group, targeting anti-capitalist demonstrators.

Solidarity with Barcelona victims: No God. No State, No Caliphate

Once again it has been the people, the civilian population, the ordinary people, who have suffered the consequences of wars that are not theirs. Once again the people put back the suffering and the dead.

This time the location has changed, the place has changed. This time has been hit the heart of Barcelona. But again the objective has been the same: the civilian population unarmed and innocent.

Whether in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, London, Paris, Berlin, the Mediterranean or in the fences of Melilla, we return to becoming propitiatory victims, in collateral damages of a war between sides that we do not know, that does not repair media or Limits to reach their goals, who does not know the meaning of the word “love.” Gangs for whom power is above people and life.
