trumpflagI could write about the newest murder committed by the police, could write about the newest life lost behind bars, but what would be the point? Like cancer and massive debt these things hold no shock value for us anymore.
We’ve come to expect them in our everyday life, stare blankly as body after body goes into a cell or into the ground. We argue about “prison reform” and “better training” yet still the blood flows. Above all, all maintain that while it’s not pretty police and prisons are necessary for any society.These people are, in the parlance of our times, spineless and servile little worms who are hideously, grotesquely wrong. 1. Manchester: an explosion of hate and fear

The vile bomb attack in Manchester on May 22 has left a noxious smell of racism and fascism in the British political atmosphere in the election run-up.

Prime Minister Theresa May was very quick to ramp up the terror alert status to “critical” and send the army onto the streets in a bid to show just how strong and stable she is.

The gesture has a hint of coup d’état about it. Even pro-establishment Guardian journo Jonathan Freedland had to admit that troops  being deployed in the middle of a general election campaign was “new and unsettling terrain for British democracy”. Depraved USA and UK green light Genocide of Millions for Profit in Yemen

We are witnessing an astonishing new level of human depravity in which the US sells $110,000,000,000 worth of arms to the terrorist  Saudi state while actively aiding it in bombing and starving it’s neighbours to death.

President Trump mouthes platitudes of ”alternative truth” in the middle east and is applauded by Western media, the sunni States and even the UN in a veritable cacaphony of hubris and damned lies.

Next day we read of a massive cholera epidemic but no one makes the connection. The coming Yemeni genocide is an object lesson, with the proof open to any blogger in the internet, of the capitalist insanity whereby just one day of arms spending could save the infinite suffering of poverty and lack of health services on the planet.

One  big ubiquitous lie is that President Hadi is legitimate president of Yemen. He lives in Saudi Arabia, he was appointed by Saudi and the US with no other candidate as a 2 year interim president. .. then he REFUSED TO STEP DOWN or implement any of the agreed power sharing reforms, and continues rejecting the latest UN peace plan solely to retain illegitimate personal power. Asilo Occupato. Turin: Six arrests in latest Police Raid

20170503_Asilo_Occupato_TorinoHeavily armed officers from the General Investigations and Special Operations Division of Italy (Digos) broke down the front door and invaded the Asilo Occupato (occupied asylum) building in Turin on Wednesday, arresting six activists.

Occupants of the anarchist-run space, located on Via Allesandria, in the neighbourhood of Aurora, resisted for several hours on the roof of the property before the raid. Carabinieri (Italian militarised police) also participated in the repressive operation.

Among the detainees are four Italians (Fabiola De Costanzo,Antonio Pittalis, Antonio Rizzo, and Giada Volpacchio), a Frenchwoman (Camille Casteran) and a Spaniard (Francisco Javier Esteban Tosina), who were detained as a “precautionary measure.”

UK: Cyclists Tail and Block Police Deportation Snatch Van

UK , London: Group of cyclists tail immigration enforcement snatch van through the streets of London

 from actforfreedom  Submitted anonymously –         Today a group of people on bicycles encircled and tailed an immigration arrest van through the streets of central London as it was on its way to carry out a raid.

This was done to alert people to the existence of these vans and their daily incursions into our neighbourhoods. It was also done to disrupt the smooth running of immigration enforcement; a machine that rounds people up, detains them indefinitely, and expels them from the country to face unknown dangers. ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA! FROM THE TERRITORY UNDER DOMAIN OF BRAZILIAN GOVERNMENT! AN URGENT CALL FOR SOLIDARITY!

On May 2, at eight o’clock, local antifa and members of the Palestinian refugee community from São Paulo, called a protest against an anti-migrant demonstration organized by fascists. We arrived on Paulista Avenue, the main thoroughfare in Sao Paulo with a small group of 15-20 people to shut the demonstration down.

We fought with the fascists and the Military Police intervened on the fascist side. Eventually all the antifa were arrested. On May 1st, on the day of remembrance of workers who died in the struggle for their rights, anarchists in various cities of Belarus conducted actions of agitation calling on the people of Belarus to strike and resist.
