Today this city reawakens its antifascista memory, stronger than ever, sending another statue to its place: the dustbin of history!

Twitter hosted a lot of laughs on Friday on account of the beheading, painting, smashing, overturning and trashing of the mass murdering dictator Francisco Franco. Anti fascists, gays and feminists competed to attack the statue day and night.

The controversial statue, which was erected as part of an ‘exhibition’ the Born cultural center in the city of Barcelona was retired last night by the rubbish department. , Daubed with of red paint, yellow and white, rotten eggs, with Catalan nationalist stickers and the LGBT flags rainbow flag, with ‘dedications’ scrawled on the hindquarters of the horse.

Turkish terror state attacks SDF forces in northern Syria

The Turkish air force attacked 26 times in an attempt to massacre Syrian Democratic Forces, in territory they have recently won back from Islamic State terrorists.. The grinning dictator Erdogan then boasted that he had murdered 200 anti- ISIS volunteers, The SDF are the only rebel force which has defeated IS, and are a multi/ethnic, multi/religion, anti sexist and anti/authoritarian coalition. Erdogan wants to wipe them out because they are 50% Kurdish as part of his national fascist campaign of genocide against Kurdish minorities.

AL BAB (KDN) – Turkish jets carried out 26 air strikes on US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, an alliance of Kurdish and Arab fighters, in northern Syria, killing 10 civilians, Kurdish sources on the ground said on October 20.

SDF: 19 people were killed as well as 39 wounded by “the barbaric Turkish bombing”

Local sources said that the Turkish terror army conducted airstrikes against Kurdish-led forces in support of ISIS jihadists who recently lost a dozen villages to US-backed forces in Aleppo province. Turkish army claimed it killed around 200 SDF fighters but a Syrian Kurdish leader told AP that those who were killed in the airstrikes were 10 civilians.

Turkish terror state desperately sought to join the liberation campaign of Mosul but it was excluded by the US-led International Coalition.

The Turkish air strikes could only be carried out with permission of Russia, under the latest cynical deal which includes a new gas pìpeline to Europe. They would also need the green light from the US forces (‘coalition’) who even more cynically overlook Erdogan’s mega purges and anti Kurdish fascism, perhaps in the hope of ‘wooing him back from Russia’.

A brigade of the Free Syrian Army (FSA, Free Syrian Army) has joined the SDF ( Syrian Democratic Forces) . The integration was announced at a press conference in the city of Al-Hasakah.The Union of Free Officers announced they were leaving the ranks of the FSA and joining the self-defense forces. Their representatives expressed a strong aversion to the type of Islam that has been permeating the FSA. 120,000 celebrate Women’s Meetup.. Police attack final Rosario Demo: videos

About 120,000 women have taken to the streets to celebrate the end of the three day 31 st National Meeting of Women in Rosario (Argentina). After holding fruitful workshops, they held a march to demand the recognition of the rights and freedoms of women.

The massive march took place after two days of meetings on a date that has become one of the most important for women in Latin America.

The peaceful women’s march was suppressed by troops and police forces, who fired rubber bullets and gas at the demonstrators for several hours, causing at least 17 injuries.

The workshops which had the greatest participation and had to be replicated were the strategies for abortion, relationships, violence, maltreatment and abuse, femicide, trafficking and sexual exploitation, trade unions, indigenous peoples, unemployment, contraception and abortion and feminization of poverty.

The Women’s meetup culminated Monday in the city of Rosario, with a strong demand for budget increases to enforce the law on protection against domestic violence, the declaration of national emergency to stop femicide murders and a celebration of the size and success of the conference, which brought together over 70,000 women from across the country. Last housing Occupation in Bologna has been evicted

The eviction of the last remaining housing occupation in Bologna – around 100 people, 34
of them children, living in a building inVia Mario De Maria, in the working-class neighborhood of Bolognina – started at dawn on October 11.

The police and the carabinieri surrounded the block and raided the building, beating people and even using pepper spray, the residents say.

The newly elected council member for the housing emergency, Virginia Gieri, said that the residents “came out peacefully”, but the residents and witnesses say something different. One man passed out after he was beaten and another person was injured.

Gieri, a loyal follower of Renzi, was appointed to the delicate job of being in charge of the housing emergency in Bologna, after the last incumbent, Amelia Frascaroli, was considered to be too soft.

Renzi’s government is holding a line of absolute repression against housing occupations, and PD local authorities all over Italy are toeing this line, even in places – like Bologna – where the party claims to be more “tolerant” and to have a welfare-oriented tradition.
