The DOOM LOOP: banks and States in Death Embrace !

In a vicious cycle of sorts, banks and states thus spin down together like two entangled paragliders caught in a mutual embrace of death.

Not excessive government spending but excessive bank lending lies at the root of the eurozone crisis. Here’s why the bankers, not the people, should pay.

We’ve been listening to the same tired old story for almost three years now: if governments don’t cut back on their reckless spending, the euro crisis will escalate and the world will face catastrophe. Collapsing banks, spiraling unemployment, rioting workers — all are said to be the direct result of irresponsible fiscal policies in the lead-up to the worst crisis since the 1930s. And if government is to blame for these ills, austerity is certainly its only cure.

“But hold on,” some hundreds of thousands of protestershave been asking over the past year, “if governments were spending excessive amounts of money, then where did all this money come from? And if we are running out of cash so rapidly that we need to sacrifice social security, education, healthcare and hard-earned pensions in order to keep our heads above the water, then why is there somehow always money left for the bankers when they run into trouble?”

As Capitalism collapses amid climate chaos… one lonely abused schoolgirl occupies herself… and sets off an explosive social and economic revolution…

Rio treaty ‘written for billionaires’..283 paragraphs of fluff.

How “Sustainability” Became “Sustained Growth”

The draft and probably final declaration is 283 paragraphs of fluff. It suggests that the 190 governments due to approve it have, in effect, given up on multilateralism, given up on the world and given up on us.

The Rio Declaration rips up the basic principles of environmental action.   In 1992 world leaders signed up to something called “sustainability”. Few of them were clear about what it meant; I suspect that many of them had no idea. Perhaps as a result, it did not take long for this concept to mutate into something subtly different: “sustainable development”. Then it made a short jump to another term: “sustainable growth”. And now, in the 2012 Earth Summit text that world leaders are about to adopt, it has subtly mutated once more: into “sustained growth”…. video “Oh Council of Bastards”. [English Subtitles] #Egypt

Jun 19, 2012 by “Oh Council of Bastards”, is a powerful song against the Military dictators of Egypt (known as the military council or the supreme council of armed forces, SCAF). The SCAF is responsible of  crimes committed against the civilian people of Egypt since the start of the January 25, revolution in 2011.
We do not forget SCAF crimes.
We do not forgive SCAF crimes.
SCAF should fear us, as we know our rights and are ready to die for it. Our revolution is peaceful and we will continue our struggle no matter what is the cost. Freedom is not for free.

CNT Badalona: arrests of 6 more fellow general strikers

Press release..CNT Badalona on the arrests of 6 more fellow strikers
Yesterday we  lived another episode of this long history of repression, now there have been over a hundred prisoners, nearly fifty defendants, in addition to the thousands of identified and monitored after the last general strike.
This time once again it was the turn in Badalona  ( a large working class Barcelona suburb), where the morning began with groups of Police in plain clothes waiting at the door of the houses of several friends to stop them, with all the paraphernalia and staging designed to frighten and said to colleagues facing the neighborhood. Balaclavas, handcuffs, runs, screams, sirens … were common ingredients in four arrests that could have been simplified with a citation in an envelope, …
But the intimidating task did not end here, throughout the day many people remained supportive picketing the door of the police station demanding the release of detainees, and at the same concentration were kidnapped two more companions. Also throughout the day there was the constant presence of police in plain clothes around our local CNT union and other organizations in the city, around the homes of other companies, and even openly following comrades cars.
Six detainees were accused of public disorder caused by cutting the C-31 with burning tires, and later participating in the picket of the shopping area in Badalona on the day general strike on 29 march. On  that date were already arrested five people accused of similar charges, and the days before and after several people were identified and some fined for their work in broadcasting, information and propaganda……

Anonymous leaks details of Greek Nazi MPs

Posted by ⋅ June 1, 2012 ⋅
The hactivist network, Anonymous, has posted personal details, via a video (see below, includes music by UK Anarchist band, Chumbawamba) of the leading Nazis in Golden Dawn, the party that won seats in the last Greek election. Information is provided in Greek and English. See also article on Greek Nazis attacking immigrants .
Fears of far-right rise in crisis-hit Greece
A young man attacked in central Athens last May. Gangs of far-right youths attacked dark-skinned immigrants, leaving at least 25 people injured.

Video with English commentary

1000’s saltan los peajes/ 1000’s Jump Road Tolls

‘I won`t pay, anti toll campaign

The second protest against the price of tolls ends with 3,087 complaints in Catalunya

Thousands of drivers have supported the protest against the price of tolls. The initiative, promoted by groups # novullpagar and I do not pay, was seconded in Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid Country.
For the group # novullpagar (I do not pay) that of “second parts are never good” has not been fulfilled. Today, thousands of drivers have supported the protest against the price of tolls, which was to go through them without paying a single euro on the grounds that the roads used to transport enough already retired.
The call was announced, with the cooperation of the platform I do not pay-to encourage those who circulate through Spanish roads, but although there were also withheld in the Valencian Country and Madrid, Catalonia where he was more successful.

Thus, there have been major bottlenecks tolls Vilassar de Mar, where the retention of vehicles came to occupy four miles, and Martorell (Barcelona). Although, according to Efe said the organizers, there were also boycott against South tolls Girona, Mollet and Garraf, which showed “little retention and collapse, despite the orders of the concessionaire Abertis to pass quickly to the people.”

Jumping the Toll Gate

In the end, according to Abertis, the day ended with 3,087 complaints for nonpayment. “Offenders” shall pay a fine of 100 euros, plus the possible administrative penalty the company to claim back the amount not paid.

However, of the 16,000 complaints of default which, until last Thursday, had received the Catalan Traffic Service toll dealerships, only 1,291 have been processed. Still, the platform # novullpagar asked the government “to stop debt collection agencies make Abertis” and “not to pursue or threaten citizens attached to the campaign.”

Although, as that service, monitoring the protest was much lower (almost 50% less) than last May 1, the platform convenor disagrees. “The Catalan people have answered again representing abuse tolls in Catalonia”, sentenced.

“Thousands of vehicles have collapsed at 12:00 pm the main tolls and the wave of demonstrations to 18:00 h was even more crowded,” they said.

Another objective of the group is calling on all political parties to support the abolition of tolls Act introduced in Parliament by Catalan Solidarity per Independence.

After the good response to the mobilization of 12:00, organizers have said # novullpagar have signed up another goal in the second protest of the day, convened at 18:00, qualifying for success.

After the day, the Platform # novullpagar Prou Peatges feel entitled to urge the Govern in their demands and ask him to stop “threatening” to citizens who choose not to pay tolls.
