The Coming Insurrection ..Money Collapsing?

The Coming Insurrection – A Final Warning to Governments Around the World

”The world’s monetary systems are crashing and as a direct result economies all over the world are collapsing in tandem, at break neck speed with absolutely no sign or possibility of abating. We have reached the point of no return, that not even the most extreme plan of “fiscal responsibility” advanced by our so-called elected officials can reverse.

Our corrupted democracies will not save our monetary systems because politicians can compromise but the laws of gravity cannot. What goes up must eventually come down.

So too, the inviolable laws of humanity dictate that you can only push a man so far before he has no choice but to fight back. People all over the world are almost at that breaking point. Many have already reached it.

The clip below titled “The Coming Insurrection” is based on a book by the same name, whose authors were arrested in France in 2008 on charges of terrorism.

In light of the recent popular uprisings throughout the Middle East, its powerful message portends an era whose time has come.”

Enjoyed the video, but it strikes me as exaggerated macho posturing , without much hint as to what or how the author would suggest making revolution (okay the book does try). Economic collapse  without a popular movement to make change seems like a recipe for army control. Hopefully the system WILL eventually crumble and people will be ready to make a better one ..not hard.!

Desalojos parados/ Evictions stopped!

No van a poder silenciarnos!
http://stopdesahucios.tomalaplaza.net/main

Across the capital most schools, colleges, local authority staff and civil service joined 750.000 UK workers on a one day strike to warn the govenment and capital to stay away from their pensions and wages. Pickets were established early in the morning in every corner of London being fed with home made food by UK Uncut’s ‘Big Society breakfast [pics] Across the UK over 12,000 state schools were closed. Everyone out to show solidarity.

The Critical Mass toured the picket lines in support since early in the morning starting out at Burgess Park near Elephant and Castle [report | pics | live broadcasts] The mass trade union march (one of 80 in the country) started at Lincoln Inn Fields, and it was reported to be 20-30,000 strong at its destination Westminster Hall where speeches took place. There was a call for a People’s Assembly at the same spot at 2pm coordinated by the J30 Strikers’ Assembly Bloc. UK Uncut also had a set of challenges starting at 3pm with Banker City vs. Public Sector United outside QE Hall. The police were reported to be heavy handed in stopping people from leaving the prescribed route, with many reports coming in of many young people being stopped and searched [more] along the route. Plain clothes police snatch squads were deployed in the late afternoon around Pariment Square and Whitehall and became vety active arresting people whilst kettles were being formed [report] Reports of a total of 31 people were arrested during the day [Green & Black Cross Legal support: 07946541511]

A flavour of the pickets: outside of Lambeth Town Hall, Hackney Community College, The British Museum, Peckham Job Centre, HMRC Euston, Parliament, The British Library, London College of Communication, as well as a cultural workers strike… Plus a demonstration outside the ATOS building in Euston. The Traflagar Square anti-cuts Camp set up the night prior to the strike was evicted in the early morning. See also Elephant reports on the day.

Benefits of Green NH3  (ammonia) over other fuels

  • costs less and zero emissions
  • helps reverse global warming
  • no need to transport fuel (used where it is made)
  • less truck pollution, traffic congestion and fuel tanker accidents.
  • less need for oil wars ( oil is now not worth the fight )
  • less chance of “oil” terrorism ( harder to attack a million wide spread green fuel machines than one or two oil refineries.)   ETC

There are three ways to use ammonia as a fuel.

  • Ammonia can be burned in a spark ignited piston engine, behaving quite a bit like an ordinary gasoline engine, except it will perform at compressions of as high as 25 to 1, which is even better than diesel’s 17 to 1 limit.
  • Ammonia will burn in a turbine, which would be used for long term electricity generation, say in a “peaker” style generation facility intended to replace a natural gas generator. This would be a machine in the multimegawatt range.
  • The third method of producing electricity from ammonia is to use it in a fuel cell. This has always been possible but development has favored hydrogen fuel cells rather than direct ammonia fuel cells thus far.

Converting to NH3

Converting a Vehicle to run on Ammonia (NH3)

How does an ammonia dual fueled vehicle work?

The simplest implementation of the dual fueled ammonia vehicle conversion is physically similar to a compressed natural gas vehicle conversion. A new on-board tank holds liquid ammonia at only about 150 PSI. Regulators, valves and an electronic control system meter the flow of ammonia to the engine as needed after the engine is started and warmed up on gasoline, ethanol etc. A small amount of gasoline is used to idle the engine, then as the load is increased the additional energy is provided by adding ammonia. This is all handled automatically by the engine control electronic module.

Can I buy a conversion kit for my private car today?

No. Not at this time. Conversion work is currently concentrated with fleet vehicles and other large market applications. Although, with increasing gasoline prices, conversions for private vehicles are coming.

COME ON YOU GEEKS WHERES THE DIY KIT !!

Peru Revokes Permit for Giant Dam on Amazon Tributary

Environment News Service

After years of community opposition, a 2,000 megawatt dam planned for construction on a major Amazonian tributary, has been cancelled, the government of Peru announced Tuesday. The dam was to have been built across the Inambari River in Madre de Dios province.

For the past 36 days, some 2,000 people in the Puno area blocked access roads to the region and held mass protests to convince the government to cancel mining concessions and the dam project.

To appease the strikers, the government established a high-level commission to review the Inambari dam.

After a tense meeting with local communities on June 13, Commission Chair and Vice-Minister of Energy Luis Gonzales Talledo cancelled the project, stating that the Brazilian EGASUR consortium’s rights to develop the project had been revoked.

“Although this resolution does not prevent the construction of all dams in the Inambari Basin, it is very important because it clearly cancels EGASUR’s participation,” said Aldo Santos, from the local nongovernmental organization Rural Educational Services, or SER.

“The resolution states that all future proposed projects must be subjected to prior consultation with local communities according to ILO Convention 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples, which is an important precedent,” said Santos.

Affected communities have long opposed the Inambari Dam, which would have flooded 410 square kilometers of forest, including part of the Bahujan Sonene National Park buffer zone.

China: Take The Streets. Rioting spreads.

Wave of Violent Protests, Rioting, Bombings Hits China; Expect More Riots When China’s Credit Bubble Pops, Exposing Mountains of Fraud Protests are not uncommon in China. However, most protests have been in rural areas where farmers have had their land stolen by bureaucrats and property developers.

The last few weeks have been different. Several large urban areas have seen protests against corruption. A wave of violent unrest in urban areas of China over the past three weeks is testing the Communist Party’s efforts to maintain control over an increasingly complex and fractious society, forcing it to repeatedly deploy its massive security forces to contain public anger over economic and political grievances.

In the latest disturbance, armed police were struggling to restore order in a manufacturing town in southern China Monday after deploying tear gas and armored vehicles against hundreds of migrant workers who overturned police cars, smashed windows and torched government buildings there the night before. The protests, which began Friday night in Zengcheng, in the southern province of Guangdong, followed serious rioting in another city in central China last week, plus bomb attacks on government facilities in two other cities in the past three weeks, and ethnic unrest in the northern region of Inner Mongolia last month.

Antigovernment protests have become increasingly common in China in recent years, according to the government’s own figures, but they have been mainly confined to rural areas, often where farmers have been thrown off their land by property developers and local officials. The latest unrest, by contrast, involves violent protests from individuals and large crowds in China’s cities, where public anger is growing over issues including corruption and police abuses.

Protests in China have been occurring at an increasing rate. This is in spite of the fact the Chinese economy has been growing at 10% a year for a decade. What happens when China’s growth slows to 4%?
