President Erdogan has equipped, paid and sponsored ISIS from the beginning, hoping, among other aims, that they would destroy the progressive Rojava Revolution. Every year a mere handful of ISIS members are publicly arrested, (as opposed to the hundreds of thousands of suspected opponents detained) and nearly all are quietly released. In recent days Erdogan has begun deporting a few foreign ISIS prisoners to Europe. This is seen as yet another blackmail trick to extort money in future with threats.

After extorting up to 6 billion euros of public money from the EU to NOT let refugees pass, and constantly threatening in order to get more, he can expect huge sums of EU taxpayers money to NOT repatriate more ex ISIS prisoners, and will always demand more.
(Turkey also quietly allows the Syrian refugees to work black at starvation wages, depressing salaries for all and boosting profits, and uses them as an excuse to invade Syria, though they are less than 5% of the Turkish population).
Erdogan’s own son and family are implicated in importing and .profiting from oil from ISIL controlled territory in Syria.
Even today various ‘charities’ are legal ISIS and Al Qaeda fronts in Turkey.
