On October 21, 2016 Robert Earl Council (aka Kinetik Justice Amun) went on a Hunger Strike based on threats against his life from the Alabama.oct-2016-prison

Department of Corrections (ADOC) administration and staff. He was transferred to a supermax facility, and water was shut off in his cell in an effort to force him out of his hunger strike. His transfers
happened after the media exposed the ADOC during a nationwide prison strike to demand changes to prison conditions and unpaid labor.

As of November 8, 2016, Kinetik Justice is in danger for his life, and
organisers are calling for action.img_5170

Kinetik has been inside for over 22 years and is a co-founder of the
Free Alabama Movement which has organized successful work stoppages to demand basic human rights and has provided education and legal support to hundreds of incarcerated people.10599613_1518395251745511_5416659300835430917_n

President Trump: Countdown to Apocalypse – From Crimethinc

Posted on November 11, 2016 by Julius Gavroche

After the Trump election, from CrimethInc …

Move the doomsday clock forward another click.

We were right about the direction things are heading, but wrong about the time frame. We thought Clinton would win the election, and would then be discredited by new scandals and the challenges of preserving an increasingly unpopular status quo, producing a reactionary surge like the one that recently toppled Dilma in Brazil.

Instead, the scandal broke before the election, with the announcement of further FBI inquiries into emails associated with Clinton. And, as with the Brexit vote, everyone underestimated just how desperate and reactionary the general public has become—at least the ones who still identify with the ruling order enough to vote at all. It’s later than you think.

It’s significant that the news event that rescued Trump’s presidential bid was essentially an intervention by the FBI. This tells us a lot about the era we are entering: it is the security apparatus of the state that will be calling the shots, not the aspects of government that purport to improve the lives of citizens.

Capitalism, long stabilized in the so-called First World by the compromises that produced the middle class, will henceforth be imposed by force. The surplus of the 20th century has run out; the velvet glove is coming off the iron fist. Sure, demagogues like Trump and Sanders will continue to promise us the moon every four years or so, but it won’t be peace treaties that will preserve the prevailing order—it will be police.  by Michelle Karen Santos for Feminist Bloggers .. translation The Free    …    I am a Pastor’s daughter and I was born in a family where everyone is evangelical, that’s how I identified myself until I was 15 years old. I always went to church, sang, prayed and was part of all the groups that were there. I was the pastor’s daughter, the girl who should set an example for everyone, especially for the other girls.

I grew up seeing church leaders being all men, and the most that a woman could achieve was the leadership of the group of children or ladies. Rebellion is Life.. Submission is Death

The spaces were occupied by pastors who said that women should be submissive, behave like a “lady”, be careful, less gossipy, should have sex with their husbands even without wanting to, that they should have children even without wishing for them, that they should be wise and build their homes, that all women should be what the church declared they should to be. Million Mask March storms Trump Hotel

hump-trump

On the 5th of November, the annual Million Mask March stormed Trump Hotel on Penn Ave.

Three arrests were reported over spray painted tags left at
Trump Hotel and on FBI headquarters. Police websites and some other news outlets reported that couched were thrown at glass doors inside, but video footage clearly shows that heavy couches were only pulled against glass doors to barricade them against security.
