Peaceful warrior: Permaculture visionary Bill Mollison

Australian educator, author and co-inventor of Permaculture, Bruce Charles ‘Bill’ Mollison, died on the 24 September 2016 in Sisters Creek, Tasmania. He has been praised across the world for his visionary work, and left behind a global network of ‘peaceful warriors’ in over 100 countries working tirelessly to fulfill his ambition to build harmony between humanity and Mother Earth.

The Tasmanian rainforests gave him the founding structure for his life’s passion, Permaculture: the idea that we could consciously design sustainable systems which enabled human beings to live within their means and for all wildlife to flourish with us.

Born 1928 in the Bass Strait fishing village of Stanley, Tasmania, Bill’s life story included backwoodsman, academic, storyteller, lady’s man, and to many just ‘Uncle Bill’, doing all these things par excellence.

Bill was co-founder, with David Holmgren, of the permaculture movement – a worldwide network of remarkable resilience, with organisations now operating in 126 countries and projects in at least 140, inspiring individuals and communities to take initiatives in fields as diverse as food production, building design, community economics and community development. Mexico Jails student Luis for 33 yrs for Ayotzinapa solidarity Demo

As the anniversary of the ‘disappearance’ of teachers approached, the State jailed our compañero Luis for 33 years for ‘damaging property’ at the Third Global Day for Ayotzinapa Protest, two years ago.

Accused of burning a bus Luis has been victimised and demonised in yet another atrocity by the ”terrorist” State. This is not exaggeration, the State really has condoned mass murders and disappearances and everyday torture of prisoners and opponents, as verified by UN and Human Rights reports.

In fact the original Ayotzinapa ‘disappearance’ of progressive socialist teachers was just the culmination of a State-condoned terrorist campaign against them.

Everyone has always known who is responsible, the ‘deep state’, the oligarchy of white rulers and landowners, allied with the drug mafia, with their money in Miami, and backed as always by the USA, are continuing their immoral nazi tactics. Finns Say “Enough is Enough” Over Neo-Nazism
People demonstrate against racism and fascism in Helsinki, Finland Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, after a man, who took exception to a neo-Nazi demonstration in central Helsinki on September 10th, died a week after he was assaulted.
Tens of thousands of people are demonstrating across Finland under the slogan “Enough is enough” following the death of a man who reportedly spit in front of neo-Nazis holding a rally in Helsinki.
The demonstration snaked through the Finnish capital to the sound of whistles on Saturday as participants and spectators held green balloons and signs reading “No to Nazism.”
Similar demonstrations were staged in other Finnish cities.
A 28-year-old man died six days after hitting his head on the ground during a Sept. 10 rally by of members of the Finnish Resistance Movement. A 26-year-old suspect is being held on…
