The police broken into the house of 5 comrades from the Straight Edge Madrid collective this morning (04.11.15) and seized collective materials then arrested all 5 comrades.

The 5 comrades are being held at the Moratalaz police station  and have not been allowed to see a lawyer. Coming straight after the Pandora raids (with no evidence) the arrest of vegan anti drug activists on terrorist charges is one more cynical far right election ploy to put the word TERRORISTS all over the tame subsidised media. The first I knew of it, for example was a headline  saying ”anarchist terrorists seized for bombs in Madrid”.. but there have been no bombings!

Iceland — First, Iceland jailed its crooked bankers for their direct involvement in the financial crisis of 2008. Now, every Icelander will receive a payout for the sale of one of its three largest banks, Íslandsbanki.

If Finance Minister Bjarni Benediktsson has his way — and he likely will — Icelanders will be paid kr 30,000 ( 212 euros)  after the government takes over ownership of the bank. Íslandsbanki would be second of the three largest banks under State proprietorship.

‘Arson’ in Massive Fire at Monsanto Research Facility

(ANTIMEDIA) Maryland — Earlier this week, a Monsanto research facility in France was burned to the ground. Monsanto and investigators suspect an arsonist was responsible for the blaze.

Monsanto representative Jakob Witten told Reuters that investigators“strongly suspect it was a crime as no electrical or other sources were found.”He added that “No Monsanto sites in Europe have so far been the victim of fires of criminal origin, this is unprecedented violence.”resize

The fire had multiple points of origin, meaning it is unlikely the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction or other natural causes. Investigators also noticed a strong smell of gasoline in different areas of the site.

On Saturday, October 24, at Sustainability Park, a City of Denver property near the intersection of 25th and Lawrence, a Tiny Houses project being built under the auspices of advocates from Denver Homeless Out Loud, was raided by the Denver Police Department.

Ten activists were arrested and the encampment was dismantled.

Last night, DHOL representatives were back on the scene, reinforcing their commitment to rebuild what has been referred to as Resurrection Village or Little Denver.

The Tiny Houses project wasn’t kept under wraps. Indeed, it was the subject of an online campaign that raised more than $5,000 through October 21…….read more here
