Who decided we should give all our money to landlords? Did you vote for that? I didn’t. You didn’t, either. And if you have thoughts of leaving renting behind to buy, the costs of mortgages are, not surprisingly, rising dramatically as well. As far as I know, no landlord has been recorded as holding a […]
By Yves Engler | March 4, 2024 A recent Israeli real estate sale in Toronto highlights Zionists’ racism and violence. Non-Jews were openly excluded from the event and Palestine solidarity activists were violently attacked. On Sunday real estate firm Keller Williams hosted a sale for properties in Israel. The march in Caracas’ 23 de Enero barrio condemned the backing of the USA in the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza.
Caracas, March 2, 2024, venezuelanalysis.com – Venezuelan social movements united with millions worldwide to protest in solidarity with Palestine, calling for an immediate halt to the US-backed Israeli military operations in Gaza.
The demonstration was part of the Global Action Day for Palestine launched by a number of organizations, among them the International Peoples’ Assembly, Progressive International, ALBA Movimientos and La Via Campesina.
The march began at El Panal Commune in Caracas’ 23 de Enero neighborhood, known for its rich history of revolutionary activism, ending with a concentration near the Mountain Barracks, President Hugo Chávez’s resting place and the outpost from where he led the 1992 uprising.
Caracas’ action was organized by the Alexis Vive Patriotic Force and communards from El Panal Commune with the Solidarity Platform with the Palestinian Cause, while the ruling United Socialist Party (PSUV) and many other organizations joined the call.
In the rally, Hindu Anderi, a Lebanese-Venezuelan journalist and longstanding Palestinian solidarity activist, criticized multilateral organizations for their failure to halt the genocide in Gaza. She called to create new organizations that respond to people’s demands and address global injustices.

The activist went on to add that under international law Palestinians have the right to resist the colonizing entity by any means necessary and encouraged people across the world to stand with Palestine in order to fight against rising fascism.
“What the people of Palestine are doing is comparable to what the Soviet Union did during World War II. They are stopping the new fascist wave! Palestine is fighting for its independence from a colonial regime that oppresses it,” Anderi told the crowd.

Painting the Eyes of War on the Buddha
In many traditions, when you paint or sculpt a Buddha, the eyes are the very last to be painted. It’s only after the eyes have been completed that the sculpture is fully alive and empowered.
The US has just approved a $75 million weapons package to Taiwan province involving the sale of theLink 16 communications system.
The acquisition of Link 16 is analogous to “painting the eyes on the Buddha”: a last touch, it makes Taiwan’s military systems and weapons platforms live and far-seeing. It confers deadly powers, or more prosaically, in the words of the US military, it completes Taiwan as the final, lethal link of the multilateral coalition kill chain against China
What exactly is Link 16? Link 16 is a key system in the US military communications arsenal. Specifically, it is the jam-resistant tactical data network for coordinating NATO weapons systems for joint operations in war.
