Biden thanked the Spanish government after forcing it to again enlarge the NATO anti-ICBM based in Rota, making it a prime frontline target for the looming 40% chance of Nuclear War with Russia. Eliminating Spain with its elite US ‘anti missile missiles’ is a key to the first minutes of the war.

Also with zero consultation the Spanish also agreed to a dump of 1000’s of irregular migrants from the United States to Iberian soil.

Spain also signed the agreement on migration, whereby it will receive up to 6,000 irregular migrants a year who would otherwise tenter the United States illegally. Although the PM Sánchez confirmed the agreement, he did not dare to put figures on it.

Though sure to enrage the Far Right the arrival of more hard-working and entrepreneurial Spanish speaking Latin American immigrants will be a de facto boost to the Spanish economy.

Less acceptable in Spain is the recognition of Moroccan rule over ‘Spanish Sahara’ at US and Israeli bidding. The decision flouts the UN and African Union, and for profit accepts the Moroccan invasion, occupation and genocide of the Sahara.

Morocco’s invasion of the Sahara, now accepted by the US and Spain, is arguably ethically far worse than Russia’s invasion of Donbas which after all has the justification of protecting a besieged ethnic Russian minority.

Deepening the Defense Agreement between the U.S. and Spain

As President Biden had promised during his June 2022 bilateral meeting with Spanish President Pedro Sánchez, this agreement increases the deployment with two U.S. Navy destroyers permanently based at the Rota Naval Base.

The U.S. Ambassador to Spain, Julissa Reynoso, and the Spanish Defense Minister, Margarita Robles, signed an agreement at the Spanish Ministry of Defense in Madrid, Spain, to deepen cooperation within the framework of the Defense Cooperation Agreement between U.S. and Spain on May 8, 2023.
