The advanced digitization-robotization of society, within the framework of the new world order in the process of consolidation, is a more than evident reality despite the fact that many citizens do not believe it that way, and even consider that it is a simple theory of conspiracy or something like that.

The digital-cybernetic society is here to stay unless hundreds of millions of people around the world react forcefully, and liquidate it together with the new corporocratic-totalitarian WEF world order.

A society that, if definitively materialized, would clearly be the most unequal, excluding, vigilant, controlling and oppressive in history, in which the elites in charge would try to reach the extreme of “merging” man with computers and other machines or devices (including the implant of microchips or nanochips), in order to “read” their thoughts, submit them to their will and therefore fully dominate them.

At this point, the economy is almost entirely digital, and soon cryptocurrencies will completely displace traditional money.

A Sea of Trouble: Seabed Mining and International Arbitration in Mexico

In the Gulf of Ulloa, a U.S. treasure-hunting company turned seabed mining outfit poses a dire risk to the environment.

The Gulf of Ulloa off the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico teems with marine life, from gray whales to lobster.

Its seafloor is also rich in phosphate, a key component of fertilizers, at the center of a multi-billion-dollar arbitration suit that US company Odyssey Marine Exploration has brought against Mexico under the terms of the original North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Odyssey, a treasure hunting firm turned mining company with little revenue of its own, secured financing from a private litigation firm in the US to file the claim after local opposition arose to its project and Mexican authorities denied it an environmental permit.

The fishing concessions of the Puerto Chale Fishing Cooperative are where the company would like to dredge the seafloor. The Cooperative has opposed the project from the start and filed for permission to submit its concerns to the NAFTA tribunal in October with help from the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL).

They sought to communicate the impacts that this company’s project could have on their lives and environment, and why it was correct for Mexico’s environmental regulator to turn down a permit for the seabed mine according to the precautionary principle as found in national and international law.

As is common for an arbitration system designed to favor transnational corporations, the NAFTA tribunal recently refused to admit their submission. The majority on the three person panel of highly paid corporate lawyers says the cooperative’s input is basically not relevant.

Surprisingly, however, one arbitrator expressed a dissenting opinion, arguing that not only should the cooperative be heard, but that failing to admit their concerns exposes the failings of the arbitration system with potentially far reaching impacts on environmental protection in Mexico.

This case is not unique. Mining companies are bringing ever more arbitration suits over controversial projects that have given rise to broad community opposition over serious risks they pose to nature and community wellbeing. Puerto Chale’s concerns and exclusion from this current arbitration is further evidence of the unviability, not only of seabed mining, but of the international arbitration system itself.

Hunting for Treasure through International Arbitration

In the early 2000s, Odyssey Marine Exploration made headlines for major discoveries of centuries-old sunken ships filled with silver and gold. A decade later, with the treasure hunting business dried up and company shares dipping as low as two dollars, Odyssey jumped on the seabed mining boat, seeking a more lucrative business option by capitalizing on the false idea that future mineral demands require us to mine the ocean floor.

In 2012, Odyssey acquired a majority holding in Oceanic Resources (ExO) and obtained a 50-year, renewable concession for the Don Diego marine phosphate project in the Gulf of Ulloa.

Projected to cover 91 million hectares, the project would use large vessels to dredge the seabed, uprooting rock, sand, and organisms, which would be then transported onto the ship and separated to obtain the phosphate sand.

The remainder of the dredged material would be discharged back into the sea becoming a source of pollution, sedimentation, and potential radiation, given the presence of radioactive elements such as uranium and thorium.

Mexican environmental authorities denied Odyssey the environmental permit necessary to operate, arguing that the project is not viable based on the project’s projected impact on endangered species, such as the loggerhead turtle.

The authorities cited Odyssey’s proposal to use unproven technology, as well as its lack of experience in mining, technical expertise, or robust data on the viability of the deposit.

There are those who say “capitalism isn’t working”, this is flawed analysis, capitalism is working perfectly as it was intended to do, create vast wealth for the few at the expense of the many.

The proof is every where, vast luxury million £ yachts, private jets, luxury mansions and an abundance of billionaires, side by side with millions living in poverty and destitution, bloody wars where the many shed their blood so that the rich and powerful can keep their power and privileges. The economics of the insane.

To be living under the yoke of this exploitative capitalist system is to be in a state of perpetual war.

Even if we submit subserviently to the dogma of the system, we fight to have a decent standard of living. If we resist the continual onslaught on our living standards and our freedoms, we are engaged in a constant battle.

Human decency and justice are incompatible with the drive and desires of the corporate capitalist system, greater production, consumption and ever growing profit.

Somehow this seems acceptable, and war in some shape or form is normalised into everyday life.

Co-operation and mutual aid are replaced by competition. Make it big, get very rich, become a celebrity and somehow you are applauded, struggle with your daily life and you are not worthy of recognition.

Your quality of life is dependent on wealth and wealth is gained by exploitation, a constant system of battle to gain over the other. A constant state of war, in some shape or for, seems to make it much easier to accept the bloody wars created by the system as it tries to dominate resources to continually grow its wealth, power and privileges.

Only when we replace this system of insane economics will we be able to live in peace, building a world on mutual aid, co-operation and respect for all life, only then will we be able to see to the needs of all our people, without the need for competition, exploitation, power, privileges and obscene wealth.

Russia presents new evidence from US-funded Ukraine biolabs

Moscow believes that laboratories in Ukraine funded by the US military were making biological weapons components, but that local staff was being kept in the dark about their research, a senior Russian general said on Thursday.

Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, who commands the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Forces of Russia, presented documents and imagery showing why the military has come to such a conclusion.

“We believe that components of biological weapons were being made on the territory of Ukraine,” said Kirillov.

He noted that the documents he was presenting “have the signatures of real officials and are certified by the seals of organizations,” for those journalists and experts in the West doubting their veracity.

One document, dated March 6, 2015 confirms the “direct participation of the Pentagon in the financing of military biological projects in Ukraine,” Kirillov said. The US officially funded the projects through the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, according to the Agreement on Joint Biological Activities. However, the evidence shows that the real recipients of some $32 million in funds were Ukrainian Defense Ministry laboratories in Kiev, Odessa, Lvov and Kharkov.

These facilities were chosen by the US Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Administration (DTRA), and the contractor Black and Veatch, to carry out the U-P-8 project, aimed at studying the pathogens of Crimea-Congo hemorrhagic fever, leptospirosis, and hantaviruses, Kirillov said, pointing to a slide with the Pentagon’s request.
