Each week we kidnap a different billionaire* and drop them on a deserted island with some basic survival tools.
Our contestants then hunt and kill the billionaire**.
Each episode concludes with a communal meal of roasted billionaire***.
Here are the opening credits, which are entirely original and not in any way derivative. Any resemblance to pre-exisiting TV shows is purely coincidental.
Here they are again as a .gif:
Reckon I need about £10 billion to make the pilot but once that one’s done each subsequent episode should get cheaper, ‘cos we’ll be expropriating and redistributing each billionaires’ wealth as we go.
I grew up attending Catholic School in perpetually snow-covered Central New York. One Fall morning in 9th grade, we were talking in a Religious Studies class about morality, and the priest said:
“You know that the Bible says all creation is good—but what makes a person good after being created?”
He paused and then continued. “We’ve all heard people say, ‘Well, he’s basically a good guy. Yes, he beats his wife and terrorizes his children and uses racial epithets and he lies all the time and he gets violently drunk—but he’s a basically good guy.’ “
He scanned the room and then asked the class,
“Can a ‘good guy’ do all those things and still be good? So what does being good actually mean? What does it look like? How do we measure it? Is goodness our perpetual inherent state, our do we choose goodness every day? Can we abandon that goodness?”
I’ve never forgotten that day.
Everyone believes they’re essentially a good human being. We all tell ourselves a story, and in that story our cause is always just, our motives are always pure, our side is eternally the right one. We’ve all spent a lifetime learning how to defend ourselves against criticism, even when that criticism is justified; even in those rare moments when even we begin to wonder if we’re not who we say we are. We can gaslight the world and even ourselves, when necessary. The assumption of our own goodness protects us from accountability for thoughts and words and actions that are neither noble nor decent nor redemptive.
I often hear people say, “I’m a good person and I’m proudly voting for Donald Trump again.”
I now consider that an oxymoron.
I don’t believe any good people are voting for this president a second time—or they are in complete rebellion against goodness as they do.
I believe that act is fundamentally antithetical to anything good.
There are things good people simply don’t do:
Good people don’t ignore the assassinations of unarmed black men. Good people don’t vilify and attack the peaceful protestors of those murders. Good people don’t create phony ANTIFA conspiracies, just to avoid saying that Black Lives Matter.
Protesters with KC Tenants came armed with signs outside the Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City on Thursday. Shelly Yang syang@kcstar.com
Kansas City tenants chained themselves to the doors of the Jackson County Courthouse downtown Thursday morning and shut down virtual eviction proceedings with online disruptions.
The protest, organized by KC Tenants, drew about 100 people, who held signs saying “eviction kills” and “court’s closed today.” They called on Jackson County Circuit Court Presiding Judge David Byrn to halt the hearings. For months, KC Tenants has been pushing Byrn to reestablish an eviction moratorium to keep residents in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic and associated economic crisis.
As Venezuelans starve under the illegal US blockade and petrol becomes unavailable 1.3 MILLION barrels of their oil is abandoned in a sinking tanker in a shallow coastal bay.The US blames Venezuela of course.
Locals warn derelict barge ‘Nabarima’ about to spill 55 million gallons of oil and no one is helping
The vessel was abandoned near capacity when U.S. sanctions prevented Citgo from purchasing the oil in early 2019, according to Reuters.

The FSO Nabarima sails under the Venezuelan flag and has a capacity of 1.4 million barrels of oil. Records show its capacity was last listed at 1.3 million barrels or about 54.6 million gallons.
It’s owned in part by the state-owned energy company PDVSA and Italian oil company ENI.
By comparison, the Nabarima holds about five times as much oil as the Exxon Valdez spilled into the Prince William Sound.
Archway squatters successfully resist an illegal eviction attempt by infamous Stamford Hill slumlords, corrupt security and incompetent cops.
DATELINE 14TH OCTOBER 2020, NORTH LONDON, UK.
Activists, squatters and community members successfully resisted an illegal eviction attempt at a 2-year old squat in North London this Wednesday night. A call-out was made on the No Evictions London Squatter’s Network after
residents of the building took to the roof to protest the 1-hour notice they were given to leave – a completely illegal and unfounded method considering that the residents had been in contact with the owner over the 2 years and had been granted license to stay.
Members of the Advisory Service for Squatters, Eviction Resistance Network and the NFA Queer Punx attended from around 9pm on Wednesday and were presented with a number of self-professed security guards who refused to display their SIA badges, despite this being a legal requirement for anyone claiming to be engaged in security work such as preventing people from entering or leaving a building. A number of constables were in presence, but were singularly uninterested in investigating the criminal offences being committed by unnamed and unidentified ‘security officers’ in attendence.
UPDATE: California’s Prevention of Cruelty to Farm Animals Act
October 15, 2020
WHAT IS PROP 12: In 2018Californiavoters passed the “Prevention of Cruelty to Farm Animals Act,” also known as Proposition 12, and is set to be fully effective by 2022.
The law establishes new minimum requirements for farms to provide more space for hens raised for eggs, pigs in the pork industry, and calves raised for veal.
In addition, California businesses are banned from selling eggs or uncooked pork or veal that came from animals housed in ways that do not meet these requirements.
THE MEAT INDUSTRY IS TRYING TO SABOTAGE PROP 12: Although voters passed Proposition 12 overwhelmingly with over 62 percent of votes in favor, the meat industry doesn’t want to comply, and is working hard to undermine the new law.
Last year, the North American Meat Institute(NAMI) filed…
In Spain, especially in the south, Religious Processions, Festivals and Bullfights are still used as an excuse to impose the submissive mindset under Catholic, State and machista control and exploitation. In recent years feminists have countered with Rebel ‘Pussy Pride’ processions, to the horror of the Catholic Church.
The Malaga Prosecutor’s Office has asked that the accused be sentenced to pay a fine of 3,000 euros for a crime against religious feelings.
Christian Lawyers consider an offense what for the accused is “defending the rights of women.” In the trial that has been seen for sentencing, the Malaga prosecutor’s office has requested a sentence for the accused of 3,000 euros despite the fact that this, I insist, did not think of offending Catholics. Meanwhile, the private prosecution goes one step further.
In this way, the Christian Lawyers Association requests one year in prison and a twenty-four month fine for provoking discrimination, hatred and violence as well as for a crime against freedom of conscience and religious feelings.
Convictions that if in any of the cases favorable to the prosecution would give a new meaning to the expression “we have run into the church.” In this way, Insurgente has also released the news, noting that, in the face of communication and media blockages, another form of counter-hegemonic journalism is possible.
The defendant has pleaded not guilty and has assured that she did not think she could offend Catholics. During the trial, held in the Criminal Court number 10 in Malaga and which has been approved for sentencing, the defendant insisted that she only intended to defend the rights of women.

It should be noted that this is not the only case initiated by the Christian Lawyers Association against feminist groups or activists. The most mediatic and well-known “Rebel Pussy” took place on May 1, 2014 in Seville. This performance was after the one of the “Great Procession of the rebellious chumino saint” which took place on March 8, 2014 in Malaga.
The far right religious group also attempted, unsuccessfully, to tie CGT anarcho-syndicalist organisers to a “Feminist Aquelarre” (coven) gathering which took place at the same time as a CGT Labour Day gathering on May 1st 2014 and the union supported the feminists.
In the case of the “Unruly Pussy,” justice on that occasion agreed with the activists, an event that provides a favorable precedent in this case as well.
”To say ‘this body is mine’, is a provocation; ‘I do not want to have children’, is a provocation; ‘I want a living wage’, is also a provocation; ‘Do not beat me anymore’, is another provocation. Whatever women do, there will always be many men who feel threatened. But we will not remain silent because we believe we are citizens and not objects serving anyone.”
