Ya se ve andando por las calles de Europa los primeros de millones de refugiados de las guerras causados en parte por el Cambio Climático.
El CO2 adicional que se acumula en nuestra atmósfera por el sabotaje del sector de renovables por el gobierno del PP en España será al menos 40.000.000 toneladas hasta 2016, según cálculos aproximados con datos de la Red Eléctrica de España.
Con los avances continuos en la ciencia del Cambio Climático estos números pueden ser traducidos dentro de poco en números de humanos muertos en el futuro y cantidades de pérdidas en ecosistemas vitales. Así que ya podemos empezar a asignar la culpa, no importa si hay una demora de décadas entre el crimen y su desenlace. Por ejemplo si alguien pone una bomba en tu casa para ganar dinero, es igualmente un asesino, aunque se pone con un temporizador de 10 años.
Parece mentira hoy, pero si hay un colapso climático, y parece cada vez más inevitable, los criminales principales serán llevados a la justicia, incluyendo líderes actuales de España como Mariano Rajoy. Puede pasar algo similar en el Reino Unido, donde el gobierno liderado por David Cameron está parando la industria renovable, además que Narendra Modi de la India, y Recep Erdogan en Turquía.
Hasta ahora ningún Estado ha prohibido ni extraer ni buscar combustibles fósiles a pesar de que 80% como mínimo de las reservas tendrán que permanecer inutilizados bajo tierra para salvar el clima.
Y a pesar de todos nuestros esfuerzos la industria recibe todavía $300,000 millones en subsidios anualmente , pagados con dinero público por políticos corruptos, cuatro veces más que los que reciben las energías renovables y más que el gasto mundial en salud pública!.
Además hay un lapso de tiempo de hasta 20 años entre emisiones de CO2 y sus efectos acumulados… o sea que ahora solo sentimos los efectos del nivel de 1995.
Los cambios vienen más rápidos que las predicciones del IPCC y de formas inesperados porque hay varios efectos de circulo vicioso o bucle de realimentación, como la pérdida del hielo en el árctico, o las emisiones de los depósitos enormes de metano, o el corte de corrientes marinos, o la degradación ambiental galopante causado por el capitalismo. Estos efectos se interactúan para acelerar el cambio de forma imprevisible.
Si no hay una revolución popular en contra de los Estados y corporaciones es ahora probable que en pocas décadas vivimos el colapso de la economía mundial y la capacidad de la biósfera para soportar la civilización humana , dejando guerras y hambruna por doquier y todo el mundo en el nivel ya alcanzado de Siria, Somalia, Yemen, y otros regiones.
En este escenario podemos estar seguro que habrán movimientos sociales buscando venganza y castigos ejemplares para los criminales climáticos que hoy se enriquecen impunemente, sabiendo plenamente que están destruyendo el hábitat vital de todos/as. Y con el caos y la hambruna habrán gobiernos militares… y la pena de muerte…
Hay muchos criminales climáticos: dirigentes de corporaciones, billonarios, políticos… se encuentra en el internet detalles de sus mansiones, palacios, búnkeres e islas privadas…
Aquí en España los dirigentes actuales del PP se parecen muy vulnerables. El gobierno central ha forzado la legalización del fracking, siempre ha dado permisos de exploración por hidrocarburos (en Canarias, Baleares etc.)
En 2012 por decreto real casi se cortaron los subsidios, hasta retroactivamente… rompiendo los contratos y pararon nuevas instalaciones de energías renovables durante al menos 4 años (ver: Renovables: la muerte de un sector).
Parece que lo hicieron para enriquecer más el sector de energías fósiles, hay una larga relación de corrupción entre políticos y la industria de la energía en el país.)
Según los cálculos aproximados con datos de la Red Eléctrica de España (REE) el CO2 extra que se acumula en nuestra atmósfera por el sabotaje del sector de renovables será al menos 40.000.000 millones de toneladas hasta 2016. (Calculando un incremento de energía de renovables no realizado de 16% en 4 años).
Hoy en día no podemos encontrar la Justicia Climática . En el futuro sí,… pero puede ser demasiado tarde.

The destruction of the large Spanish renewables sector, ordered by premier Mariano Rajoy, joins him to the club of top climate criminals, alongside David Cameron of the UK, Narendra Modi of India, and Recep Erdogan of Turkey.
Now that Climate disaster is a proven and accepted scientific reality we can begin to apportion direct blame for crimes being committed. It makes no difference if there is a delay of decades between a genocidal action and its consequences, if for example someone for personal profit hides a bomb in your house with a timer to go off in 10 years, he is still a killer, as are the club of top climate criminals.
According to approximate calculations with data from Red Eléctrica de España (REE) , for example, the extra CO2 that accumulates in our atmosphere due to the state sabotage of the renewable energy sector will be at least 40 million tonnes by 2016. It seems incredible today, but if there is climate collapse, which now seems almost unavoidable, major criminals will certainly be brought to justice..
There are many: corporate leaders, billionaires, politicians … and already on the Internet we can find details posted of their mansions, palaces, bunkers and private islands … For example in Spain the current leaders of the PP seem very vulnerable. In 2012 by royal decree the renewable energy industry was stopped for at least four years. (There is a long corrupt relationship between politicians and the energy industry in the country.)
Finally States are recognizing that the planet is in a climate emergency, but too late it seems, to stop climate chaos. The changes are coming faster than expected and in unpredictable ways, and we are hampered by the fact that there is a time lag of about 20 years between CO2 emissions and their almost permanent and cumulative effects … So now we are only feeling the full effects of the 1995 level.
At last we are seeing serious efforts to limit the catastrophe, but not a single State has yet banned extracting or prospecting for fossil fuels, even though at least 80% of the reserves must remain unused underground to save the climate. If fossil fuels are extracted you may be sure they will be used, and they may become much cheaper as demand drops.
In fact the fossil fuel industry still receives $300 billion a year in subsidies , many times more than renewables receive, and more than the health care budget for the entire planet.. In Spain, as a typical example, the central government has forced the legalisation of fracking, has always granted oil exploration permits (Canary Islands, Balearics etc.) and has also increased use of coal despite its promises …)
So far the earth has heated by just 1 degree, but aready several feedback or vicious circle effects, such as catastrophic loss of summer ice in the Arctic, the emission of huge methane deposits, the blocking of marine currents, or the already rampant environmental degradation, are apparent and we know that such effects can interact to accelerate change unpredictably.
Unless there is a popular revolution against States and corporations it is now possible that we will experience the collapse of the world economy and the ability of the biosphere to support human civilization, leaving famine and wars reducing everyone to the already existing levels of Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq, etc.
In such a scenario we can be sure there will be social movements seeking revenge and exemplary punishments for all the climate criminals who today are knowingly destroying the vital habitat of us all for personal or national profit.
Today we cannot yet find climate justice . In the future yes … but it may be too late
