Dictator Erdogan decrees $20 billion Tank Factory gift to Cronies

How nice to have total power! Here’s yet another little scandal to add to the 1001-crimes-of-adolf-erdogan. Not this time locking up tens of thousands or  massacring the Kurds‎, but adding up to a fine sum of $20,000,000,000 nonetheless.

How Erdoğan rushed to gift Turkey’s multibillion dollar tank factory to his cronies and Qatar

The government of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan rushed a financial agreement between Turkey and Qatar through Parliament for approval ahead of his decision to turn over a $20 billion tank and pallet factory to a company run jointly by his associates and the Qatari army.

The deal, the avoidance of double taxation agreement, came just in the nick of time before the Erdoğan government presented a multibillion-dollar national tank factory on a silver platter to Turkish-Qatari armored vehicle manufacturer BMC, a company run by Ethem Sancak, a member of the MKYK executive body of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).

The rushed agreement on double taxation between Turkey and Qatar replaced one that had been in effect since 2009.
The taxation agreement was approved in Parliament.
Erdoğan issued an executive decree on Dec. 20, 2018 that turned over the rights to operate Turkey’s national tank factory for a 25-year period to BMC without any competitive bidding or transparent process.

On paper, 49.9 percent of BMC’s shares belong to the Qatari Armed Forces, while Sancak owns 25 percent and the Öztürk family (Ahmet Öztürk, Talip Öztürk and Taha Yasin Öztürk) owns 25.1 percent.

Rumor in Ankara circles has it that Erdoğan is the real owner of BMC and Sancak is merely a caretaker looking after the Turkish president’s business interests. The Öztürk family, known to have mafia links to Galip Öztürk, a convicted murderer and head of an organized crime network, is seen close to the Turkish president.

Genocide Tomorrow: Trump sells ‘right to invade Rojava’ to Erdogan for $3.5bn .. STOP him NOW

According to Donald Trump, reports by Reuters and numerous American media, the 2000 US military troops are to be withdrawn from Syria. However the Pentagon may be stronger than Trump and hates the idea.

In a linked news, the State Department has approved a Sale to Turkey of eighty (80) Patriot MIM-104E GEM-T) missiles, sixty (60) PAC-3 (MSE) missiles for  $3.5 billion.

The deal appears to be a straight swap, $3.5 billion for the right to invade, massacre and take over Rojava, and resembles that done when Erdogan bought S-400 missiles and allowed the #turkstream 2 pipeline in exchange for Russia moving out its troops and giving bombing permission to invade Afrin.The presence of the US troops in Rojava has until now prevented Turkey from invading and colonizing all of North Syria and destroying the democratic multi ethnic, feminist Rojava Revolution, as repeatedly threatened by the elected dictator Erdogan. see.. Turkey has already invaded and is ‘Turkifying’ Afrin, Jarablus and Al Bab areas, as well as growing parts of Idlib where it is recruitng the jihadi militias, including ex ISIS and Al Qaeda, to its FSA mercenaries, paid in Turkish money, by promising them land, loot, rape and conquest in Rojava.

“The decision was taken yesterday (Tuesday)”, an American official told AFP, adding withdrawal would be “full and rapid.” This is a 180 degree turn compared to the US statement saying they will keep a long-term military presence in Syria.

Spokespeople from the YPG and YPJ Rojava defense forces  and the SDF multi ethnic militia are calling for international support and self reliance against the looming Turkish sponsored genocide, which will probably begin when the US troops are out and the Idlib mercenaries prepared. The US is apparently abandoning them after sacrificing thousands of volunteers to take back Raqqa, the ISIS capital and nearly all north Syria. Erdogan, the terrorist Paymaster, steals Idlib as 12 military bases expand.

Yesterday more convoys of Turkish troops, tanks, artillery and supplies were videoed entering Idlib province to fortify the 12 ‘security points’, now and forever major Turkish military bases in the new ”Demilitarized” Zone..

You can be sure the Turks will never willingly leave. Popular islamo-fascist dictator Erdogan has boasted he will ”take back all the lands” of the genocidal Ottoman Empire. Turkey has already seized Jarablus, Azas, El Bab and Afrin and all are being ”Turkified” with ethnic cleansing.
Idlib, with 2.5 million people,  is the last chaotic bastion of ‘rebel’ groups, earnest young jihadi fighters and their families, many exiled from other parts of Syria. Most have lost their salaries from the US and Arab states as the war winds down.
Turkey has been busy ‘recruiting with threats’, rearming them and paying 500 Turkish lira a month, which with the fall of the currency is worth barely $80 US, hardly enough to eat.
Turkey has a direct border with Idlib via the Iskendun province which it seized and ‘Turkified’ in the last century.
The new agreement, cynically approved by Russia is for a 15 to 20km wide Turkish controlled ‘demilitarized’ zone (though totally militarized) around Idlib occupying about 25% of the province, and growing.
Many factions have signed up with the Turkish paymasters, including the entire NFL, formed by ten FSA groups and the SLF alliance including Ahrar al-Sham and Nour al-Din But the main resistance alliance,  Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has refused, though its leader Mohammad al-Julani had negotiated  a divisive truce  with the Turks before to gain time.
HTS is strong and well organised, has social services, collects taxes and though originally Al Qaida is now no more fundamentalist than various Arab states. But Idlib is a chaos under siege, with so many ‘rebel’ groups and refugees. Dozens of HTS leaders have been assassinated recently and one wing is happy to sell out to Erdogan. Erdogan had sought to delay an attack by trying to convince HTS to dissolve, join the FSA coalition of Turkish-backed rebels, and gertv paid. But the group’s leadership has resisted those calls, and instead vowed to fight on. Turkey could stand aside for a limited government offensive against HTS in return for the regime leaving Turkish presence in Idlib untouched .

The outcome in Idlib is still uncertain. Russia has let Erdogan take control of the situation, in exchange for gas and arms deals in a cynical reminder of the Stalin/Hitler pact. Erdogan is busily threatening Europe again with ‘letting loose the Idlib terrorists’.
All this is very bad news for occupied Afrin, with half the population exiled and ”settlers” arriving every day, many of them arab islamists from Idlib.
Defeated but defiant. Massacres  by Turkish troops and  the mercenaries of FSA  around Afrin  as the NATO tanks finally rolled in and the Afrin defense became a guerilla war..
Afrin is now even more cut off with ‘Turkification’ in full swing and Erdogan’s mercenaries seizing goods and property and committing mass rape and kidnapping.

To this blatant war crime in illegally annexed Afrin is added forced language change, abolished progressive and horizontally organised Kurdish local councils, closed or destroyed schools, women forced into servitude, etc,.etc.
