Led in many cities by Latino activists calling for a āhuelga general,ā (General Strike) the February 16 coast-to-coast walkouts augur well for an even larger set of strikes and demonstrations, including a March 8 āDay Without a Womanā and quite possibly a May Day general strike, already endorsed by one of the Service Employees International Unionās biggest and most active California locals….
