The court ruled that Abdallah will be released on December 6 on the condition of leaving France, however, French “anti-terror” prosecutors told AFP, that they would appeal..

Abdallah was accused of assassinating US and Israeli diplomats.

Now 73 years old, Abdallah was arrested in France in 1984 and after pretrial detention, convicted in 1987 for complicity in two murders. Colonel Charles Ray, US military attaché and CIA intelligence officer, was shot in Paris on January 18, 1982.

Second secretary of Israel’s embassy and Mossad intelligence officer, Yacov Barsimantov was shot in Paris on March 31, 1982.

The intelligence functions of the two victims are confirmed nowadays by Yves Bonnet, head between 1982 and 1985 of the Direction de la surveillance du territoire [Territorial Surveillance Directorate, French counter intelligence agency, DST].

The Fractions armées révolutionnaires libanaises [Lebanese Revolutionary Armed Factions, FARL] took credit for the two murders.

As a matter of course : Abdallah would have not been sentenced to life imprisonment without formal intervention of the US government.

The investigators found no evidence of its membership in the FARL or involvement in the murders.

That was rather a matter of intelligence. And according to several former French professionals, the intelligence was wrong.

The US joined a civil action to criminal proceedings and through diplomatic and intelligence channels, it demanded that the defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment. Hillary Clinton (AP)

Under French law, Abdallah could have been granted parole since 1999.

But obviously, like it also appeared in WikiLeaks here and here, the US authorities, including Hillary Clinton, were continuing to lobby their French lackeys against his parole.

The UN’s humanitarian agency (OCHA) said Israel has denied or impeded all of its attempts to provide food and healthcare to tens of thousands of people trapped in besieged northern Gaza so far this month.

The agency said Israeli authorities allowed only one mission by the World Food Program (WFP) to enter on November 11, according to Al Jazeera.

In footage posted online, trucks could be seen lined up as smoke billowed from the Mahdia al-Shawa School in Beit Hanoun. Other clips showed the aftermath of the devastation in the school, where flames could be seen engulfing the building and its surroundings.

According to Al Jazeera, the attack on the school came after the Israeli military ordered displaced Palestinians in the town to flee to the south of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. Despite allowing aid to enter Beit Hanoun, the Israeli army deepened its incursion into the town, forcing most remaining residents to leave.

Israeli Forces Attack Gaza Shelters Soon after UN Aid Delivery

Beit Hanoun, home to around 7,500 people, has been under siege for almost 40 days, since Israel launched a fresh military offensive in northern Gaza.

On Tuesday, local media reported that three aid trucks carrying food items and water entered the area for the first time since the blockade began. Simultaneously, Israeli forces shelled the area, killing a number of Palestinians and forcing the rest to flee south.

Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal told Al Mayadeen that Israeli forces are systematically killing civilians in northern Gaza.

    #SaveNorthGaza

He emphasized that the Israeli occupation is employing a strategy of siege and starvation against the people of Jabalia, alongside direct killings.

The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza describes the situation as catastrophic, stating that “medicine and medical supplies are completely depleted.”

Al Mayadeen‘s correspondent in Gaza reported that on Monday morning, Israeli forces launched intense strikes around the Saftawi area, northwest of Gaza City, and Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, while continuing their total blockade on the North Gaza governorate for the 17th consecutive day.

Our correspondent confirmed that Israeli artillery shelling is ongoing in Jabalia and its surrounding areas in the northern Gaza Strip, with continued appeals from those trapped under the rubble in Jabalia camp due to the relentless bombardment.

Generals’ Plan’ for northern Gaza doomed to failure: Hamdan

Hamas political bureau member Osama Hamdan urged, on Tuesday, all Muslims and Arabs, including governments, organizations, and movements, to “take immediate and urgent action by all means” to exert pressure and influence to halt the Zionist occupation’s aggression that continues to kill and displace Gaza residents.

He emphasized the urgent need to address the ongoing Israeli massacre against civilians in the northern part of the Strip, which has persisted for 11 consecutive days as part of what is referred to as the “Generals’ Plan”.

“what is happening today in the northern Gaza Strip, particularly in Jabalia and its camp, is a complete genocide.”

During a press conference on Tuesday evening, Hamdan addressed the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, urging active engagement “in mobilizing the community to confront Zionist aggression and US support for it.”

We must make this moment a watershed that quenches the hellfire that threatens to envelop Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and the entire region

Sha’ban al-Dalou burned alive before the world. May his death awaken us / by Zak Witus

    Reposted from The Guardian

Last Sunday night, as I was getting ready for bed, my friend Ali from the South Hebron Hills of Palestine sent me a text which read, “Israel is burning sleeping people alive in the refugee camps.”

I clicked on the accompanying video and I could not believe what I saw: an inferno blazing, people running around screaming, and there, amidst the flame, a body writhing, crackling; a raised arm, reaching out for help, still attached to an IV.

I waited for the following morning to share the video, until the event had been reported by reputable news outlets, because the images appeared too gruesome to be real – like they were something out of a movie – but they were real: an Israeli airstrike hit near the grounds of al-Aqsa Martyrs’ hospital in the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah and killed at least four people.

The man that we saw burning alive? His name was Sha’ban al-Dalou, a 19-year-old software engineering student.

In the 24 hours since this attack, my social media feed was filled with videos of and reactions to this attack. The reel posted on Instagram by the Palestinian journalist Saleh Aljafarawi has been shared more than 455,000 times. The CNN Instagram post has been viewed more than 1.2m times.

Randa, a Palestinian friend of mine whose grandparents were born in Gaza, shared that this event was clear proof that Israel was waging a war of “annihilation”.

Survivors of the attack said the fires were caused by gas cooking canisters. Israel blamed “secondary explosions” in a statement.

In a powerful display of solidarity, tens of thousands of protesters filled the streets of Washington D.C., US and Toronto, Canada to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Lebanon, two days before the one-year mark of “Israel’s” genocidal war on Gaza.

Chanting phrases like “End the occupation now…We want justice, you say how,” one protester expressed her grief “over the loss of over 100,000 martyrs.” Demonstrators also demanded that an arms embargo be placed on “Israel” for its genocide in Gaza.

Protesters also condemned the intensifying Israeli aggression on Lebanon, which has displaced tens of thousands of Lebanese from South Lebanon as Israeli occupation forces attempt to execute a ground invasion of southern Lebanon; all of which have been foiled by the Lebanese Resistance.

Pro-Palestine rallies held globally to mark a year of Israel’s war on Gaza

Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets in major cities around the world to condemn the Israeli military operations in Gaza as the war in the Palestinian territory nears the one-year mark.

In the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, more than 1,000 pro-Palestinian protesters gathered outside the embassy of the United States, demanding that Washington, Israel’s top military supplier and ally, stop sending weapons to Israel.

“We are appealing to the hearts of all the leaders of the world to rise up and move and liberate them [Palestinians] from the oppression carried out by Israel,” a demonstrator told Al Jazeera.

“This is no longer a religious issue but truly a humanitarian issue – not just for Muslims but all who claim to be Muslim,” said another protester, holding his child on his shoulders and carrying a Palestinian flag.
