325 lives still await a Safe Port after rescue by NGOs

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said that “the Italian ports are and will remain closed.” From the Spanish Government they assure that the Open Arms “must dock in the nearest port”. The Ocean Viking ship has completed its second rescue in less than 24 hours.

Instead of demanding a solution the mass media focused on a stupid jibe by Salvini against actor Richard Gere who supports the refugees, saying he should invite the refugees into his mansion in California .. as if the racist US would ever them in the country anyway.

The ‘Ocean Viking’ rescues another 80 people and already has more than 160 migrants on board

The rescue by the Open Arms and the Ocean Viking now totals 325 people trying to cross the Mediterranean and who are still waiting on board for a safe harbor. However, governments do not respond to this emergency situation.

Specifically, the Open Arms has rescued 39 more refugees this morning, who joined the 121 migrants who have been waiting for help for nine days.
