About our initiative

From 26-30 March 2013 the World Social Forum (WSF) will take place in Tunis. The WSF is a global meeting, held regularly since 2001, bringing together civil society organisations, social movements and activists to discuss our struggles to build another world.

A diverse group of individuals, active in 15M, Occupy and other grassroots movements and networks around the globe, started to discuss the possibilities to participate in the WSF in Tunisia, recognizing this can be the right time and place to come together and share our experiences and practices. GlobalSquare is an initiative to mobilize and organize together towards, around and beyond the World Social Forum. Read more……

Agenda for the 3rd of February

During the previous meetings we gathered many proposals for activities in Tunis, including a series of assemblies, a space outside the WSF, skill-sharing workshops, and more. Also see our working document about activities: http://titanpad.com/agora99firezneWSFactivities

Important: the meeting is starting half an hour in advance in order to solve technical and practical issues, like team facilitating, agenda, minutes, sound check, etc. Please consider assisting with all this!

How to use Mumble

Mumble  is a voice chat Open Source software (works similar to skype but is not  a corporate tool). If this is the first time you use Mumble, please try to log in at least half an hour in advance, we will be there to help you.

Acerca de nuestra iniciativa

Desde 26-30 Marzo 2013 el Foro Social Mundial (Foro Social Mundial) tendrá lugar en Túnez. El FSM es una reunión mundial que se celebra desde 2001, que reúne a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil, movimientos sociales y activistas para discutir nuestras luchas para construir otro mundo.

Un grupo de personas, activas en el 15M, Occupy y otros movimientos horizontales y redes en todo el mundo, comenzaron a discutir las posibilidades de participar en el Foro Social Mundial en Túnez, reconociendo que esto puede ser el momento y el lugar para reunirse y compartir nuestras experiencias y prácticas.

GlobalSquare es una iniciativa para movilizar y organizar  hacia, alrededor y más allá del Foro Social Mundial. Leer más…

Durante las reuniones anteriores hemos recogido muchas propuestas de actividades en Túnez, incluyendo un espacio fuera del FSM, talleres y asambleas

Importante: la reunión va a empezar con media hora de antelación ( 19,30h CET) con el fin de resolver los problemas técnicos y prácticos, como facilitación, orden del día, acta, Sound Check, etc.
