Ambos Argelia y Francia tendrían razones para esconder el fracking, Argelia debido a la sublevación anti-fracking de 2015 que casi se llegó a la guerra civil, y Francia porque allí el fracking está prohibido y por sus crímenes coloniales en Argelia.
Luego han aparecido otras informaciones que Timimoun, Ahnet, Touat y Reggane son precisamente los mejores campos de ‘Tight Gas’, que según Wikipedia hay que extraer mediante el fracking y serán los primeros en ser explotados.

TOTAL está en Argelia por robar sus recursos no-renovables cuanto antes. No quiere comentar si hace el fracking ya o no. Pero se negó también que su expulsión temporal de Argelia en 2015 tenía algo que ver con las protestas anti-fracking del mismo año.
El gobierno de Argelia de su lado está desesperadamente intentando subir más sus exportaciones de gas y petroleo para pagar sus deudas y tener gas suficiente para su población que crece muy rápidamente y falta de todo.
Su dilema es que: está ya totalmente dependiente de exportar sus recursos no renovables; que al exportar más el precio baja aún más en un mercado saturado; y que está contribuyendo mucho en destruir el equilibrio delicado del clima que puede dejar el planeta no-habitable durante miles de años.
La solución para Argelia seria quizás dejar el gas y contratar con empreses chinas campos de placas solares masivos para vender electricidad barato, renovable y sin CO2 ni metano a Europa. Incluso se puede poner cables a través de los gasoductos a España yi Italia. Pero en el mundo real son las empresas de combustibles fosiles que tienen todavia el poder.
