The Algerian newspaper Al-Chourouk quoted the Special Envoy in charge of major international partnerships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Leila Zerrougui, as saying in a press statement:

Zerrougui indicated that the rest of the BRICS countries are currently studying the Algeria file before deciding on it.
