The following article is an interview with an environmentalist, vegetarian anarchist from Turkey who is a member of Sosyal Isyan (Social Insurrection) fighting as part of Birleşik Özgürlük Güçleri (United Freedom Forces) alongside the YPG / YPJ in Kobane, Rojava. AFTER A DELAY WHICH SERVED TO PARALYSE THE SOLAR INDUSTRY SPAIN IS GOING AHEAD. If you get caught collecting photons of sunlight for your own use you will get a fine not exceeding 30 million euros.. What the hell is going on in Spain? This is one of 100’s of crazy, often neo-fascist measures by a govt with a total majority (by default) yet drowning in corruption scandals and huge popular resistance.

They’ve already decimated the promising renewable energy sector by taxes and illegally cutting contracted subsidies, while promoting, oil, gas and fracking. What the hell? Why?

For one thing the fossil fuel sector has huge scandals, its a honey pot, eg. they’re raising prices to pay billions for estimated losses due to modernisation; for 40 years electric meters grossly overcharged the public; gas purchase prices are still kept totally secret. Eleven Feminisms in One: Going Viral Despite Internet Patriarchy

Feminism is under fierce attack on the internet. When looking for illustrations for this post I found many anti feminist sites. In the images I saw stacks of doctored photos denigrating feminism by mockery, divide-and-rule, inventions, junk science, misandry, rape celebration, patronizing, etc.

Mostly it seemed to me like pathetic bleating by Nth American men about losing any of their socially permitted patriarchal privileges,… But switch language on Google and you get similar results in different contexts..

Seems like we’re living through giant social battles that are going on around the world, in which millions of women feel empowered by a perceived freedom and individuality on social media, threatening to undermine long established systems of cultural semi slavery, and provoking ‘testerical’ reactions from religious and authority figures.

review: The Fakir of Florence + The Anarchist Revelation..Paul Cudenec’s Anarcho-Spirituality

Publications on anarchism have been thriving since the early 2000s. Yet, there is still a place for surprisingly unique releases. Paul Cudenec’s The Fakir of Florence, March 2016, explores the relations between anarchism and philosophy, psychology, and religion.

The Fakir of Florence is his first novel, following from his philosophical masterpiece The Anarchist Revelation which attempts no less to equip contemporary anarchism with the transformation not only of society’s structures but also of people’s souls. People looking for in-depth analyses of governmental bodies, labor conditions, or gender and race relations might have to turn somewhere else. No single book has it all.

Paul Cudenec is both a committed activist and a scholar who seems able to synthesize the insights of the past from the roots of anarchism to Sufism to astrophysics. Cudenec provides evidence that anarchism’s roots lie partly in this life-embracing source of inspiration, the bringer of art and poetry as well as of resistance and revolt.
