‘TheFreeOnline’ blog banned in Turkey with Dozens more pro Rojava and anti Fascist sites

We have received copies from WordPress.com of Court Orders granted to Turkey to order them to  ban this blog thefreeonline in Turkey and for internet users ”originating on Turkey”and also around 50 more blogs for posts against fascism, racism and patriarchy by the ‘elected dictator’ Erdogan and in favour or Democratic Confederalism. ( see list below, includes Latuff Cartoons, Desert Peace, Uprooted Palestinians, etc).Image result for blogs banned in Turkey by wordpress

thefreeonline is a modest blog which promotes a utopian novel called The Free and posts relevant news, etc, in this case about the inspiring bottom up democratic revolution in Rojava, which has been brutally repressed in Turkey itself and now in Afrin with the Turkish invasion.2013121864316309734_20You can’t read thefreeonline anymore in Turkey (except with a Vpn or Tor) , or if you’re a person ”originating in Turkey” (we’re not sure how that works, but the order seems to aim at blogs translating or sharing news from exiled Turkish people and supporters..

The ban includes the suppression of much more frequented sites, see list below, and probably there are many more, and perhaps Google and other blog hosts have followed wordpress’s example of refusing to appeal the banning orders.

WordPress’s statement says  ”we must comply to keep WordPress.com accessible for everyone in Turkey. We will not be challenging this order in court”. In other words Erdogan is blackmailing again, threatening to ban all WordPress.com blogs from Turkey (as they did before) unless those critical of him are suppressed.

We could fill pages with a list of documented  blackmail scams by Erdogan over the years, one of his most disgusting being extracting billions of euros in EU tax money in exchange for blocking refugee boats. This while exploiting the same  refugees as illegal semi slave labour and recruiting them as jihadi mercenaries to invade and ”ethnically cleanse” (a euphemism for genocide) Rojava and now parts of Northern Iraq. see.. Carrie Reichardt is a contemporary artist, who works from a mosaic-covered studio in London. A member of the Craftivism movement, she uses murals, ceramics, screen-printing and graphic design in her work. She is a dedicated advocate of the movement and curated one of the few exclusively Craftivist exhibitions in the UK. Kropotkin was Right: Cooperation beats Competition

New studies are proving false whole libraries that claim humans are innately selfish and cruel. Starting with a false view of Darwin’s theory of Evolution right wing leaders of opinion have built a tower of lies to justify their crimes against humanity, as argued from the beginning by the anarchist Peter Kropotkin. Humans are innately cooperative and empathetic, and this gives us the basis for a new kind of non-capitalist system. Do you find yourself thrashing against the tide of human indifference and selfishness? Are you oppressed by the sense that while you care, others don’t? That because of humankind’s callousness, civilisation and the rest of life on earth are basically stuffed? If so, you are not alone. But neither are you right.

A study by the Common Cause Foundation, due to be published next month, reveals two transformative findings. The first is that a large majority of the 1000 people they surveyed – 74% – identify more strongly with unselfish values than with selfish values. This means that they are more interested in helpfulness, honesty, forgiveness and justice than in money, fame, status and power. The second is that a similar majority – 78% – believes others to be more selfish than they really are. In other words, we have made a terrible mistake about other people’s minds. The Assembly of the squatted social center Kike Mur has been, for over four years,  giving life to an abandoned building and putting into practice the assemblyism, horizontality and anti-authoritarian methods.

We believe that it’s now a good idea to make a  political definition of the reality we have been creating throughout our history. We have self-organized by way of a free association of people working together and  trying to be equal. We decide, we act and we take responsibility for managing the resources.28F

Eleven Feminisms in One: Going Viral Despite Internet Patriarchy

Dozens of varying Feminisms are undermining long established patrarchal priveliges worldwide

Feminism is under fierce attack on the internet. When looking for illustrations for this post I found many anti feminist sites. In the images I saw stacks of doctored photos denigrating feminism by mockery, divide-and-rule, inventions, junk science, misandry, rape celebration, patronizing, etc.

Mostly it seemed to me like pathetic bleating by Nth American men about losing any of their socially permitted patriarchal privileges,… But switch language on Google and you get similar results in different contexts..

Seems like we’re living through  giant  social battles that are going on around the world, in which  millions of women feel empowered by a perceived freedom and individuality on social media, threatening to undermine long established systems of cultural semi slavery, and provoking ‘testerical’ reactions from religious and authority figures.

Spanish State witch-hunts Social Anarchists

Spanish police today arrested (so far) 28 more ‘anarchists’, mostly in dawn raids on homes and squat centers across the State, the raids are ”open and ongoing and preventive’.  free anarchists

15 of them are being accused of membership of CAG (Coordinated Anarchist Groups) 10 from Madrid, 2 from Palencia and 3 from Barcelona, the other 13 are arrested for ‘Resisting Authority’. The police found a manifesto of CAG on the Internet which approves of sabotage, and that’s enough to convict anyone they say is a member.

In immediate response over 2000 marched in Madrid, yelling ‘I too am an Anarchist’. In Barcelona four demos met up at the house of one arrested, making at least 1000.

In the Occupied Social Centers the police reported finding ‘small amounts of marijuana, a scales for weighing drugs, copious literature (they have libraries), a gas bottle’, ….etc.

The national media is trumpeting the guilt of the ‘insurrectional anarchist terrorists’ repeating a load of invented lies, elaborating on the fantasies used after vthe recent Operation Pandora’, when 7 ‘anarchists’ were arrested on  similar charges, now out on bail.
