Activists Vow to Continue “BLOCKING TRAINS” Shipping Fracking Sands to North Dakota Oil Fields – Following Para-Military Raid Last Week

Olympia, WA November 22, 2016:

A train transporting fracking proppants to the Bakken Basin in North Dakota, the source of oil for the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) and explosive Bakken oil trains, was prevented from leaving the Port of Olympia for almost 7 days before mass police repression dispersed a blockade in downtown Olympia, WA. The action began on Friday, Nov. 11th, when activists got word a train shipping fracking proppants was set to depart. People immediately mobilized and confronted the train—forcing it to reverse direction back into the port.

Protesters assembled an encampment, complete with tents, seating arrangements, food, music and a dishwashing station on the tracks at the edge of downtown Olympia. Other physical barricades to complement the encampment were constructed along the tracks to shut…

On Wednesday, December 7th at Texas A & M University, as FBI agents monitored hundreds of protesters from the tops of roofs, heavily armed riot police clashed with demonstrators bent on disrupting and shutting down an event organized by Preston Wiginton, a 51 year old former student of the campus and long time white supremacist.

The event featured a talk by Richard Spencer, a leading ideologue within the growing “Alt-Right,” which attempts to re-brand fascist, Neo-Nazi, and white nationalist ideas for the millennial generation in order to create an all-white fascist “ethno-state.”

The clashes that erupted on the campus are just the latest in a string of growing confrontations between autonomous revolutionaries and the racist far-Right which is acting as an auxiliary force of the Trump regime while attempting to push it farther to the right.

Suddenly, anarchists and antifa, who have been demonized and sidelined by the wider Left have been hearing from liberals and Leftists, “you’ve been right all along.” But while revolutionary anarchist ideas and starting to have a broader currency, many of the things that people are starting to pick up on, we have been saying for years. Exxon’s top Climate Murderer to be Secretary of State: 350.org comment

NEW YORK CITY – President-elect Donald Trump announced on Saturday afternoon that he has selected ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his Secretary of State nomination. 350.org Executive Director May Boeve issued the following reaction:

“This is unfathomable. We can’t let Trump put the world’s largest oil company in charge of our international climate policy. Tillerson may be a friend of Putin’s, but he’s no friend of the planet. ExxonMobil is still a leading funder of climate denial and is pursuing a business plan that will destroy our future. Tillerson deserves a federal investigation, not federal office.

If Exxon is found guilty of working with other oil companies to deceive the public and their shareholders about the threat of climate change, they could be on the hook for fraud and racketeering charges. SDF resume offensive on ISIS Raqqa with 1000’s of new Volunteers

On Friday the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) agreed to resume the ‘Wrath of the Euphrates’ campaign against the ISIS HQ in Raqqa, departing from Tall Saman which they captured in November. Currently the forefront of the democratic forces led by the YPG / YPJ is 30 km from Ar Raqqah, capital of fundamentalist Syria.

The Turkish invasion with their FSA jihadists mercenaries in the west of Al Bab and north of Manbij cautioned the SDF not to continue the advance on ar-Raqqah, (see SDF will halt Raqqa operation if Turkey does not stop attacking Manbij). Hopefully they now have guarantees that Turkey will be restrained.

The SDF was set up by the Kurdish YPG/YPJ rebels as a non ethnic and non religion based Coalition. It is rapidly growing, doubling in size in 6 months as various brigades, mainly arabic, join up and undergo training, and includes western volunteer soldiers and medics, especially from anarchist milieu who support the Rojava Revolution. Assange Proves Innocence: SMS Records Show He Was Framed by Police in Rape Cases

Julian Assange, for the last six years, has been persecuted and held captive because of rape allegations; allegations that we have now found out are entirely fabricated by police.

Today marks the first time that Assange has gone public with his version of events surrounding the rape allegations for which he was arrested in 2010.

“Six years ago today, on 7 December 2010, I was handcuffed and locked into Wandsworth prison by order of a Swedish prosecutor, Marianne Ny,” Assange explains in a testimony released on Wednesday. “I had not and still have not been charged with an offence. The claimed grounds for my arrest and extradition without charge were so that Ny could question me. But it was not until six years later – three weeks ago – that I was questioned for the first time. I have decided to release my responses.”

Despite gender reassignment procedures, Chelsea Manning will remain a man in the eyes of the US Army after it denied a request from the jailed whistleblower to her prison psychologist to recommend her gender be officially changed. A court filing from Manning’s legal team said that prison psychologist Dr. Ellen Galloway denied Manning’s request t — 08/12/2016.. Despite gender reassignment procedures, Chelsea Manning will remain a man in the eyes of the US Army after it denied a request from the jailed whistleblower to her prison psychologist to recommend her gender be officially changed.
