Mega-Corpse Of Loch Ness Monster ‘Found’ In Scotland

#Savetheplanet

— Photos, Facts, & Thoughts On The Approaching Extinction Of Many Marine Species

While animals that fit the description of the famous Loch Ness Monster most certainly have existed at various points in time, in various parts of the world — and while I’m not of the mind that all “sightings” are hoaxes per se — the chances of finding a physical animal living in Loch Ness that fits the description are pretty much nil.

: There are plenty of real life ‘monsters’, many of them being driven to extinction by human predation

So, what are we left with? A hoax of some sort — though the motives behind hoaxes often vary quite a bit. In this case, I’d say that those behind it have had quite a bit of fun. I wonder what the exact motive was? Continue reading “Mega-Corpse Of Loch Ness Monster ‘Found’ In Scotland”

GMO Industry abuses Gullible Celebs to launch false ”Golden Rice Blocked by Greens” campaign

It’s easy to demonstrate (see below) that this is a campaign of lies. ‘Golden Rice’ has been a total flop, still doesn’t exist and so hasn’t even been presented for legalisation, never mind blocked. But the damage is done.. GMO big money allies with the right wing popular media and gullible celebs to broadcast the populist message, repeated forever in the media and in homes and bars worldwide ..that ‘stupid reactionary greens are causing millions of deaths by blocking GMO ‘miracle rice’.

By the same token if anti-GMO activists had the same money and influence they could send a true and proven message.. That by allowing and promoting GMO crops designed to work with the ‘probably carcinogenic’ glyphosate weedkiller the industry is profiting from a crime against humanity and nature, no less than a huge and continuing massacre worldwide, and has been knowingly doing so for decades! .

Pro-GMO campaign exploits Nobel laureates to attack Greenpeace and fool the people.

by Claire Robinson. shared from The Ecologist with thanks

Greenpeace is being criticized for blocking GMO golden rice – even though the crop is years away from being ready, reports Claire Robinson

A new pro-GMO propaganda campaign has been launched in which, in the words of a Washington Post article, “more then 100 Nobel laureates have signed a letter urging Greenpeace to end its opposition to genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Looting The Earth: motive behind racist Oaxaca Massacre.

Oaxaca massacre to allow Extractive Looting of the Commons

in English and Spanish original below. By: Agustín Ávila Romero The massacre in Nochixtlán, Oaxaca where 11 people lost their lives, more than 100 were injured and 18 were removed from a funeral and arrested by the Federal Plice, not only shows the grave democratic backwardness of Mexico, where a civilian demonstration is answered with the use of heavy-caliber firearms against social protest despite being prohibited in international protocols; it also shows the inability of the Secretary of Education, Aurelio Nuño, to start a dialogue and carry out an education reform that fully includes those involved in teaching/learning in Mexico.

A market scene in Nochixtlán, the capital of a large indigenous district. The police attack took place on a market day, thereby maximizing the number of civilians present.

But beyond clearing a highway blockade, what are the reasons why the Mexican government would act this way? What hidden and open interests are expressed behind this massacre? Why the cruel federal police attack against inhabitants of Nochixtlán, and why in this place? Here we’re try to get close to an answer. Fear of freedom and the lies of the state

Posted on July 2, 2016 by paulcudenec

extract from Paul Cudenec’s book Forms of Freedom

The negative assumption behind the dominant attitude towards the freedom-to-run-your-own-life is that we are incapable of doing so.

This belief has taken on many forms over the centuries, but it makes little difference whether one believes from “religious” conviction that human beings are born sinners or whether one’s “scientific” view of the world sees an inherently brutal and selfish human nature, which renders us unable to arrange ourselves in a peaceful and constructive way.

Despite convincing counter-arguments which explain that co-operation and not competition is in fact the key to successful evolution, the negative view is still dominant today.

Even those who argue that there is no such thing as human nature at all, and that everything about us is conditioned by our experienced cultural environment, are essentially adopting the same position. How can humans be expected to live naturally if we have no nature? How can we expect to survive without some kind of hierarchical structure if we have to be taught to be kind to each other, to co-exist in communities? I, SNOWBOT: Fugitive Snowden Escapes Exile via a Wi-Fi robot

I, SNOWBOT

FOR A MAN ACCUSED OF ESPIONAGE AND EFFECTIVELY EXILED IN RUSSIA, EDWARD SNOWDEN IS ALSO, STRANGELY, FREE

By Andrew Rice.. shared with thanks Edward Snowden lay on his back in the rear of a Ford Escape, hidden from view and momentarily unconscious, as I drove him to the Whitney museum one recent morning to meet some friends from the art world.

Along West Street, clotted with traffic near the memorial pools of the World Trade Center, a computerized voice from my iPhone issued directions via the GPS satellites above. Snowden’s lawyer, Ben Wizner of the American Civil Liberties Union, was sitting shotgun, chattily recapping his client’s recent activities.

Snowden’s case is, in fact, a study in the boundless freedoms the internet enables. It has allowed him to become a champion of civil liberties and an adviser to the tech community — which has lately become radicalized against surveillance — and, in the process, the world’s most famous privacy advocate. After he appeared on Twitter last September — his first message was “Can you hear me now?” — he quickly amassed some two million followers.

For a fugitive wanted by the FBI for revealing classified spying programs who lives in an undisclosed location in Russia, Snowden was managing to maintain a rather busy schedule around Manhattan. Continue reading “I, SNOWBOT: Fugitive Snowden Escapes Exile via a Wi-Fi robot”
