Mark Kennedy: the spycop who disappeared into the cold

Undercover1's avatarUndercoverInfo

One of the many Spycops being investigated by the Pitchford Inquiry is Mark Kennedy, whose undercover exploits not only covered England & Wales (the geographic area restricted to the Inquiry) but Scotland and parts of Europe. Below we include, for the Inquiry’s benefit, an internal German Government report on Kennedy, as well as via a number of sources his extensive ‘CV’. There is now compelling evidence that the Inquiry should examine the activities of British undercover police outside of England & Wales (Kennedy was not the only spycop who worked across Europe – see below) .

“If Kennedy’s toll is taken as an average, the officers of the Special Demonstration Squad and National Public Order Intelligence Unit have caused around 8,000 miscarriages of justice. Even if we are conservative and presume there was just one per officer per year, the total is around 600. This may well be the biggest…

Chris Hedges: Boycott Israel’s “Apartheid” State

For many years activists have tried every kind of appeal and protest to shame or convince The Israeli State to stop their brutal killing, imprisoning and robbing of the Palestinians.Protests will NEVER WORK. these people are mass brainwashed and terrified of revenge and can rationalize to themselves any crime, even murdering hundreds of children. The way forward is an organised trade boycott, that can grow with every Israeli atrocity.

The Shell standoff in Portland comes to a dramatic end

Forty hours after Portland activists took to the Willamette River to block passage of the MSV Fennica, a Shell icebreaking vessel en route to the Arctic, the standoff came to an end.

Thursday afternoon, several hours after protesters successfully forced the Fennica to turn around, a judge — after urging from Shell — ordered activists to abandon their posts blocking the Fennica’s route out of Portland and threatened Greenpeace with fines from $2,500 to $10,000 per hour. The activists — some parked in kayaks on the Willamette, others hanging from slings on the St. Johns Bridge — refused, and local authorities and the Coast Guard eventually forced them from their posts, making way for the vessel.shell-47723

efrineconomy

Rojava is quickly becoming a center of trade and production despite the shortages and sufferings caused by the ongoing war, according to an article from ANHA carried by Özgür Gündem.

Economic development is occurring along the lines set forth by the leadership of the Kurdish Freedom Movement, and current economic growth is being led by newly found communes, committees, unions and civil organizing as part of the democratic economy model.

In the Efrîn canton alone, where hardly a workshop existed under the Baath regime, a new 84 thousand square meter industrial park close to the Eşefiyê neighborhood is now home to at least 800 workplaces providing for the livelihood of 5 thousand families.

This growth has been made possible in part to the work of the YPG and YPJ forces in the canton which have kept Efrîn a place of peace and security despite the civil war engulfing the rest…
