Hydrogen Is Worse for the Environment Than CO2, a New Study Finds

In case you are not aware, hydrogen as a source of energy has become controversial. It is promoted as a clean replacement for fossil fuels, without greenhouse gases at the tailpipe.

Even so, producing and storing hydrogen is energy-consuming, questioning its potential as a green solution.

Somehow Hydrogen is attractive to developers, but we were pointing out 30 yeares ago that you need to ultra compress it in hugely strong and expensive tanks, even then it will ALWAYS leak and the process may release more CO2 than you save .

(Totally neglected is NH3, ammonia where the nitrogen N stores the hydrogen H3 at minimum pressure. Buses ran on NH3 100 years ago, and nowadays it can be produced by electrolysis on green electricity, and it’s CO2 free oif course. -A new study shows that hydrogen has another big problem, as it becomes itself a greenhouse gas when released into the atmosphere. Long term, it might be 11 times worse than CO2 for the climate.

Light-duty vehicles have passed the phase when hydrogen can be a viable solution. Battery-electric vehicles have already proved better and gained traction with consumers.

From 1792 to 1815 there were not one but seven “Coalition Wars” which involved most of Europe. It’s an era which should be properly termed the “7 European Wars Against the French Revolution”.

Think the average European was thrilled about gutting their own economies – for 23 years! – in order to get involved in what was truly a civil war in a faraway land?

Even in England, the only nation which participated in every coalition fighting for counter-revolution, there were popular protests to finally end belligerence, and they occurred long before the start of France’s “Continental Blockade” against England’s intractable monarchists.

Objections of unjust meddling in the sovereign affairs of another nation were even finally raised in England’s oligarchical parliament. It was all to no avail, because back then foreign policy was entirely decided in the royal courts of Europe. War went on, regardless of popular objections.

It’s not any different today.

Following “illegitimate decisions” by several Western nations to freeze Russian assets, Putin ordered to accept payment for natural gas supplies to “unfriendly countries” only in rubles.

The G7 countries have agreed that they will not pay in rubles for the supply of Russian gas, as announced by the German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister, Robert Habeck.

This is great news the US which has more gas and oil than it can use, (although it is fracked, wrecking the environment and leaking huge quantities of climate-destroying methane) and xcan sell it abt astronomical prices.

The official said that “all G7 ministers were in complete agreement that payment in rubles would be a unilateral and clear breach of existing contracts.”

European leaders appear convinced by hysterical 24/7 media hysteria portraying the limited Russian operation as some kind of Blitskrieg against civilians.
