On Sunday, Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova revealed that Western nations are transferring militants to Ukraine, guised as instructors.

“Ukraine is being pumped with armament, meaning, direct supplies, future contracts, and, as you see, these are multi-million, billion contracts as a whole. It is about dispatching there militants disguised as instructors,” Zakharova told Russia’s Krym 24 broadcaster.

Spain: first Target for Nuclear Annihilation as the Base of the 4 most advanced Ballistic Missile Destroyers in the US

In the event of war caused by a NATO attack on Ukraine, the Black Sea or Latvia, Russia will have to destroy, in a matter of minutes, first Spain as a base for the anti ballistic missiles that its original nuclear arsenal awakens.

Since February 2014, the naval base in Rota (Cádiz) has housed four US destroyers as part of the NATO anti-missile shield. And now, the “USS Arleigh Burke” is deployed at the Cadiz base, which is the most technologically advanced destroyer of the US Naval Forces deployed in Europe.

Upon his arrival at the Cadiz base, Vice Admiral Gene Black, commander of the Sixth Fleet (in which the “Arleigh Burke” will be framed), assured that “it is an honor that this powerful warship, with its recently improved capabilities, join our destroyer squad in Spain ”.

And it is that, although this ship built in 1991 was the first of the destroyers of its class equipped with the “Aegis” combat system, it has recently been modernized with the latest technology and updated to phase 9, which allows it to carry carry out “effective anti-aircraft, anti-submarine, anti-surface and attack operations in high-threat environments,” as the Sixth Fleet explains in a statement.

“As one of the most technologically advanced destroyers in the entire United States Navy, we are excited to provide additional capability to Sixth Fleet operations,” said Patrick Chapman, commander of the “USS Arleigh Burke.”

A Tale of Derring-Do on the Occasion of His Birthday

Born on December 9, 1842 into an aristocratic family in Tsarist Russia,¹ Peter Kropotkin developed radical ideas in the course of his scientific research. In 1874, a few hours after he presented a well-received report regarding glacial formations to the Geographical Society, he was arrested and accused of subversive activity. The following narrative, derived from his own memoir and other historical documents, details his escape from a St. Petersburg prison two years later.

The year 1876 arrives with wintry breath. Two years in the Tsar’s prisons have taken their toll on Peter Kropotkin. Though still in his early thirties, he has suffered scurvy, malnutrition, rheumatism, and a series of debilitating illnesses. Kropotkin’s brother has been exiled to Siberia; many of his fellow prisoners have died or lost their sanity, and he is approaching the end of his rope. Fearing that he too will die before his trial begins, the authorities transfer him to a hospital prison.
