 Another British man has been killed fighting against Islamic State in northern Syria, his family and Kurdish activists have said.

Ryan Lock, 20, from Chichester, West Sussex, died on 21 December during an offensive by anti-Islamic State forces to recapture the city of Raqqa, the extremist group’s de facto capital.

Lock’s father, Jon, said in a statement: “Ryan was a vRyan Lock, from Chichester, who has been killed in northern Syria.ery caring and loving boy who would do any thing to help anyone. He had a heart of gold. We ask for privacy to allow our family to grieve.

Lock, who had no previous military experience and had worked as a chef before travelling  and training in Syria, was one of many foreign volunteers who have joined the People’s Defence Units (YPG), the Kurdish military force fighting in northern Syria.

 On the same day a truce finally took effect the ‘new Hitler Erdogan’ ordered his invasion force to attack the non sectarian, anti sexist, multi ethnic SDF.. launching a new war.

 ARA News….. Aleppo – The Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) reported on Friday that their positions were being attacked by Turkey’s military and Islamist rebels. The anti-YPG offensive targeted military installations across northern Aleppo Governorate.

The Turkish military shelled YPG security offices in the villages of Yabsa, Kerbnav and Seloula with heavy artillery. SDF resume offensive on ISIS Raqqa with 1000’s of new Volunteers

On Friday the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) agreed to resume the ‘Wrath of the Euphrates’ campaign against the ISIS HQ in Raqqa, departing from Tall Saman which they captured in November. The SDF was set up by the Kurdish YPG/YPJ rebels as a non ethnic and non religion based Coalition. SDF will halt Raqqa operation if Turkey does not stop attacking Manbij

RAQQA – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) General Leadership has told the International Coalition fighting the Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL) that it will halt its operation on Raqqa if Turkey doesn’t cease attacks on Manbij according to claims.

In a statement via Telegram seen by KQ.com, the SDF, which recently launched the Wrath of Euphrates operation to liberate Raqqa from the IS, said it had told the anti-IS International Coalition it will halt its campaign on Raqqa and move its forces, which number 40,000, to Manbij if it does not stop the Turkish army’s attacks on liberated areas in and around Manbij in northern Syria.

Turkey and Free Syrian Army groups backed by Ankara have been attacking areas north of Manbij for the past two days.

Six civilians, including children, were killed tonight in Turkish airstrikes.

The SDF has accused Turkey of damaging the fight against IS in Syria.

Spectacular victories in Rojava for the growing SDF revolutionary democratic coalition with three separate offensives.

raqqa-offensiveThe last and biggest ISIS base north of Raqqa in Tal as-Salam has been totally taken over, completing the 1st phase of the campaign in record time. Now SDF plan to encircle the ISIS capital and are convening a new multi ethnic,  multi religion Raqqa Council to run it, ( as worked so well in Manbij which also is not a Kurdish city) if it can be conquered..

Kobane  The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) lmilitary operation against the Islamic State (ISIS) is advancing quickly towards Raqqa city. Several SDF militias are participating in the campaign, among them the Kurdish Women’s Protection Units (YPJ).

Turkish Bombers Excluded from Syria after massacring Kurds and Democratic forces (SDF)

info from AL-BAB (Kurdish daily News) – Since Oct 22 Turkey’s Air Forces are blocked from continuing their aerial campaigns in Syria as part of their Euphrates Shield operation, as Syria has activated its  S-200 (and possibly S-300) air defense systems against the bombing by Turkish warplanes in Syrian airspace.

 The Turkish Air Forces launched their last air-strike in Syria on Oct. 22, on positions of Kurdish YPG/YPJ forces, which are a big part of the SDF, a fast growing democratic, non-ethnic, non religious, anti-sexist grouping which has partial US support.
