Enric presented  again a request for more time which was apparently refused..VERY fishy business with his lawyer.

The trial began but Enris DID NOT APPEAR-

he issued a statement saying ”disobedience is the only way I can be sure of getting my rights” and called for general disobedience and integral horizontal revolution.

The prosecution valled for his immediate capture and arrest.

Enric Duran Giralt (Vilanova i la Geltrú, 23 April 1976) also known as Robin Bank, Robin Banks or the Robin Hood of the Banks is a Catalan anticapitalist activist[1] and member of the Temps de Re-volts collective.[2] From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.On September 17, 2008, he publicly announced that he had ‘robbed’ dozens of Spanish banks of nearly half a million euros as part of a political action to denounce what he termed the predatory capitalist system.

From 2006 to 2008, Duran took out 68 commercial and personal loans from a total of 39 banks with no guarantees or property as collateral. He had no intention of repaying the debts, and used the money to finance various anti-capitalist movements.[3] In 2008, Duran released both an online article entitled “I have “robbed” 492,000 euros from those who rob us the most, in order to denounce them and build alternatives for society” (translated), and an online video, each explaining what he had done and that he had left the country to view the reaction and consider his next move. This was also published in the free magazine Crisis, in Catalan, of which 200,000 copies were printed and distributed by volunteers throughout Catalonia. A second newspaper, We can! Greece stands at a crossroads. Either austerity or social revolution. The latter has been happening anyway with the parallel economy booming. The state is resisting, but so are the people.
The video below is a compilation from a number of sources and includes footage of confrontation over 2011-12. It has been a busy two years. 2013 will not be an exception. As with many other parts of the world – Chiapas, Catalonia, and the pockets of resistance everywhere – we may be witnessing the death throes of capitalism.
If Greece was Syria, the US would be in there arming the rebellion. Instead it’s up to us to provide support – as with the International Revolutionary Solidarity Movement or the International Brigade – or by creating our own version, where possible, of the parallel economy where we live.

This was Craig’s big chance to get a drilling permit, to boost his shares and make another fortune. He already got appox. $20 million  from merging his previous company, Realm Energy into San Leon, of which he’s also CEO, after getting 10 Frack Permits in Northern Spain and multiplying share prices, (he owned over 30% of Realm himself). justiceIn December 2012, the  Delhi Gang Rape public uprising sent a furious message to the the government of  India! That message was: ” We are not going to tolerate government apathy and corruption in face of  the intolerable violence on girls and women in India.” 

There’s an increase of 873% in India’s rape crime rate. Moreover, in 20 years, 20% of women will have been exterminated from India subject to all forms of gender specific violence. [Also browse our newspaper log]

The government’s first response was — stony silence!  It pretended it didn’t hear!

62 Yr Old Albatross Has 35th Chick, Flies 3 Million Miles

wisdomTracked by scientists since 1956, a Laysan albatross dubbed “Widsom” has hatched a healthy chick at the tender age of 62. The (apparently) elderly bird has now successfully given birth for the sixth consecutive year and is assumed to have parented at least 35 chicks over the course of her preternaturally long lifetime. And what might be even more impressive is the fact that Wisdom has flown an awe inspiring three million miles (4.8 million kilometers) since she was first branded.

The hatching was documented by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service biologist Pete Leary who is working at Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge. Over the course of her life, Wisdom has worn out five bird bands since being tagged by the U.S. Geological Survey’s Chandler Robbins in 1956.

Wildlife Extra reports:

Bruce Peterjohn, chief of the North American Bird Banding Program at the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Laurel, MD, said Wisdom has likely raised at least 30 to 35 chicks during her breeding life, though the number may well be higher because experienced parents tend to be better parents than younger breeders. Albatross lay only one egg a year, but it takes much of a year to incubate and raise the chick. After consecutive years in which they have successfully raised and fledged a chick, the parents may take the occasional next year off from parenting. Wisdom is known to have nested in 2006 and then every year since 2008.big mama

“As Wisdom rewrites the record books, she provides new insights into the remarkable biology of seabirds,” Peterjohn said. “It is beyond words to describe the amazing accomplishments of this wonderful bird and how she demonstrates the value of bird banding to better understand the world around us. If she were human, she would be eligible for Medicare in a couple years yet she is still regularly raising young and annually circumnavigating the Pacific Ocean. Simply incredible.”

Incredible, indeed. Wisdom has logged an average of 50,000 miles per year since becoming an adult — which adds up to at least two to three million miles. Or, as Wildlife Extra calculates, “that’s 4 to 6 trips from the Earth to the Moon and back again with plenty of miles to spare.”

Whoa.
