Enric is the Catalan activist who took out bank loans of 500,000 euros and gave the cash to occupiers, anarchists and Coops. Then he helped found the Integral Coop, the FairCoop, and Faircoin, the popular non exploiting crypto currency
At his trial the State banned his witnesses who aimed to expose the multi billion frauds of the banks themselves, So Robin (Enric)  ‘did a runner’, and he’s still free 7 yrs later but needs cash urgently.

Today April 23 is the 7th anniversary that went far from home, resisting a “national” order of detention for the action of denunciation and expropriation of the unjust and stingy banking system, which I made public in 2008, and for which still calls for 8 years in prison, although the banks reported to the state coffers 120000 times more than what I had to do to them and no prosecutor’s office has asked for criminal charges for that. The Fair Coop. The Earth cooperative for a fair economy

Activists from various fields of alternative economy like Enric Duran (Robin of the Banks), Cooperativa Integral Catalana, Michael Bauwens, P2P Foundation, or Amir Taaki, , bitcoin developer, launched this September 17, after months of networking, a draft global economic system based on cooperation, ethics, solidarity, redistribution north-south, and justice in economic relations.

The Fair Coop is a global cooperative attempt to become independent of the “old economic system” based on central banks and fiat currencies by a new currency reference, faircoin, to promote the global commons and decentralized economies. .

The date, 17S coincides symbolically with six years of the campaign “We can live without capitalism,” and five years since the campaign with more than a hundred data points in the Spanish state to create alternative economy networks by inviting people to abandon their bank accounts. ‘Robin Hood’ is still on run for Robbing Banks

to support Social Revolution.

His name is Enric Duran , but is known as ‘Robin Bank ‘ or ‘ Robin Hood of the Banks ‘ . This Catalan activist, 38 years old, came to illegally obtain half a million euros in bank loans which he then then divided among projects and anti-capitalist movements .

He was charged with several offenses and failed to appear at his trial. He had requested loans from banks with no intention of returning and distributed the cash to a whole range of alternative projects, integral cooperatives, occupied social centers and revolutionary anarchists. . In all, he performed 68 operations in 39 different entities. Integral Revolution Coop takes off in Barcelona

At least 1,200 Catalans manage themselves with their own ”money”, education and health , they do not use the euro but  ecos, a “free money” that can be exchanged for hours of work or products..cooperativa integral

They have organized a network of health care, education and access to housing, based on trust among  members.
They are expanding to the rest of the peninsula. in France and Italy similar experiences have been initiated.
They have a currency of its own, a self-managed health care system, an educational network and housing office. They are self-managed cooperatives and self-organization, groups of people living outside the system,  and make decisions in open assemblies based on trust organization. In Catalonia, there are already 1,200 citizens who have chosen this way of life and the implementation of these communities is spreading. Enric Duran didnt show up at his trial in which they asked eight years in prison for borrowing half a million euros and donating it to sustainable social causes. He’s now an outlaw on the run, but remains free.(24/03/13)

He argues in an open letter addressed to the 251701_259348937501443_1274411331_ncourt, which states that he will not accept any decision in which he can not participate because he believes in a method of conflict management where all affected can participate.

He has presented a proposal for a reciprocal benefit society,  a new collective project: RADIUS (Revolution, Action, disobedience, Integral) to protect the revolution and prevent any more comprehensive disobedient activist having to go to jail. Radius is to create an organizational structure to protect the physical integrity of persons activists committed to transforming society, Integral Revolution and freedom of expression, for all those being persecuted by repressive and judicial structures of the State and economic power and who want the option to disobedience and personal protection.  read more HERE

Robin Hood: anarchist on the Run.. update

     Update. 15th Feb ’13. Enric Duran, the ‘anarchist Robin Hood’ is now on the run, after the Spanish State declared him an outlaw and ordered his immediate ‘Search and Capture’. Enric is charged with ‘stealing’ 492,000 euros which he borrowed from gullible banks and donated to revolutionary and social causes.
LATEST UPDATE. despite the news in this and many other papers it has emerged that the arrest warrant was never officially sent and the trial remains blocked! Great News for Enric!

Enric refused to attend his trial on Tuesday after all his witnesses had been banned by the judge  (even some bank managers who were to testify for him), and because the trial was brought forward by surprise.
     He had planned to use the trial to expose and reject the banks and capitalist system:   ‘While banks’ and institutions’ credibility is almost zero, hundreds of senior politicians and bankers are being impeached and almost all of them getting away with everything.
