Robots to hire, fire and boss us by our Digital Footprints

digital footprint

In the near future you may be chosen or refused for a job without an interview, test or formal qualifications, chosen by an algorithm robot after instant analysis of your ‘digital footprint’, everything you’ve ever done that leaves a trace. Equally you could get fired because the BOT dislikes your footprint.

Asking such programs to exclude anyone who has been in a union, or ever protested about anything, or ever pressed ‘LIKE’ on anything anti the 1% or whoever holds power, will be as easy as pressing a few keys Continue reading “Robots to hire, fire and boss us by our Digital Footprints”

The Price of the World Cup

In Praise of Rebel Women..by a contrite macho man

by Héctor Abad

translated from mujeres sin fonteras y sin bozal.  with thanks

From my male viewpoint these new rebel women ( if you can manage to tie up the sexist donkey inside you) make the best possible partners,
For sexist men, who are maybe 96 percent of the male population, women with a rough, tough, determined character bother us. We designate disparaging words: harpies, witches, bitches, whores, dykes, tomboys, etc etc..
Actually, we are just afraid of them, and we can’t wait to make them pay dearly for their challenge to male power that until recently was wielded unchallenged. Incorrigible sexists with macho culture as an ancestral heritage are instinctively bothered when these women defend themselves instead of submitting to their will.

Millions demand Abolition of fascist appointed Spanish Monarchy

Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Spain on Saturday to demand a referendum to abolish Spain’s monarchy, just days after King Juan Carlos abdicated in favor of his son.“Spain, tomorrow, will be republican,” they chanted, waving the red, purple and gold flags of the country’s second republic, proclaimed in 1931 then overthrown eight years later by Gen. Francisco Franco at the end of the country’s catastrophic civil war.

It was only a few hours after the 76-year-old king announced his abdication on June 2 that a wave of protests drawing hundreds of thousands spread across the country.

On Saturday tens of thousands or more people from dozens of left-wing political parties and citizens organizations came together to demand “a referendum now” on the future of the monarchy.

Kurdistan: ‘freedom from money and patriarchy..’ but imposed by a leader

For a Kurdistan free from money, patriarchy and unsustainability

According to this account of developments in Kurdistan, (see original here) the Kurdistan Freedom Movement (PKK) is substituting women’s empowerment and ecologically sustainable livelihoods for money, i.e. the system of production for trade, referred to as the Union of Communities of Kurdistan (KCK).
A brilliant attempt at anarchist communism? Except for one fatal flaw, it is apparently being imposed from above, to the dictates and whims of Abdullah Ocalan, the imprisoned ‘guru’ leader of the PKK.

Socialism, Gender Equality and Social Ecology in the Mountains of Kurdistan

  by

In the PKK controlled areas of Kurdistan (an area roughly the size of Switzerland, at the intersection of the borders between Iraq, Iran and Turkey) the Kurdistan Freedom Movement is implementing its proposed system of social organisation which it believes will lead to societal emancipation. Although this geography falls within the political borders of the Kurdistan Regional Government, since 2001 the PKK has (militarily and diplomatically) afforded itself an area in which it is able to realise its “utopia”.

Ammonia fuel.. CO2 and pollution FREE.. Wikipedia

thefreeonline's avatarDemand CO2-free gasoline..it exists now (NH3).

Ammonia was used during World War II to power buses in Belgium, and in engine and solar energy applications prior to 1900. Liquid ammonia also fuelled the Reaction Motors XLR99 rocket engine, that powered the X-15 hypersonic research aircraft. Although not as powerful as other fuels, it left no soot in the reusable rocket engine and its density approximately matches the density of the oxidizer, liquid oxygen, which simplified the aircraft’s design.

The X-15aircraft used ammonia as one component fuel of its rocketengine

Ammonia has been proposed as a practical alternative to fossil fuel for internal combustion engines.[49] The calorific value of ammonia is 22.5 MJ/kg (9690 BTU/lb), which is about half that of diesel. In a normal engine, in which the water vapour is not condensed, the calorific value of ammonia will be about 21% less than this figure. It can be used in…
