Turkey pauses Invasion and Massacres as Syrian Democratic Forces defend Manbij

SDF resists TurkeyWill the US have the guts to stand up against the Turkish invasion ? Or will they stand back, do a dirty deal and let Erdogan, the supreme commander, massacre the SDF, an 80,000 strong secular democratic coalition of  Kurdish, Arab, Turkmen, Women, Christian, International,Yazidi, etc. anti-ISIS militias? 

The occupant Turkish army continues attacking villages to the north of the Sajur River in northern Manbij. Turkish military forces and affiliated gang groups targeted dozens of villages in this area with artillery fire on Monday evening. Three children and two other civilians lost their lives as a result of the artillery attacks targeting the village of Dandania. The same village was targeted by a chemical attack of the Turkish army on August 25th. Villagers said smoke and foul smells were rising from the rockets thrown on the village which caused burns and itching on the skin.
The occupying Turkish army continues attacking villages to the north of the Sajur River in northern Manbij. Turkish military forces and affiliated militias targeted dozens of villages in this area with artillery fire killing 35 civilians, torturing 3 SDF prisoners and again on Monday evening.3 children and two other civilians lost their lives as a result of the artillery attacks targeting the village of Dandania.

President Erdogan, the ”Beast of Istanbul”,  has ordered his jets and tanks to pause at the Sajur river before pursuing the SDF forces to take Manbij city.

Will the Turkish State (which has nearly 5,000 tanks) now massacre the lightly armed SDF, which is the only democratic, inclusive, feminist and multi ethnic militia in the whole Middle East just to satisfy the bloodlust and imperial ambitions of Hitler-admirer Erdogan and protect his family’s oil business with ISIS? US betrays allies as Turkey vows to Destroy inspiring Rojava Revolution.

Late news, The Kurds and allies, the SDF/YPG have retreated south of the river Sajur to make a defensive line against Turkey attacking the liberated from ISIS city of Manbij. Manbij, like all towns in the Rojava revolution, is run democratically and with sex equality by a Council composed proportionally of all the local forces (not by the SDF/YPG).

This is what Turkish tanks and jets are aiming to destroy and replace with the medieval mockery of Islam of their ISIS and allied militias. The SDF/YPG have no tanks or air force and have been betrayed by their US allies so can not now continue the offensive against ISIS in Al Bab or towards Raqqa..

As predicted   here the Turkish anti ISIS invasion of Syria is an excuse to continue their genocidal murder torture, repression and enslavement of Kurds and all things Kurdish.

The entire staff of 27 people were arrested and their fate is unknown.

It was the only newspaper in the Kurdish language in the whole of Turkey and follows a long line of repression against the Kurdish minority .

We recall that one month and three days ago the Turkish conservative Islamist government also arrested Zeynel Abidin Bulut, editor of the same publication.

Erdogan is at present negotiating visa free entry in the EU and threatening repeatedly to ‘unleash millions of refugees’ on Europe unless his visa and other demands are met.

Police criminalize his actions in the media around March 8th when he read the following textual statement:”Happy International Women’s Day happy all working women and women from insurgents Clara Rosa, Sakine Seve. Jin Jiyan Azadi” (Women, Life, Freedom). Such words, in the Kurdish language, are regarded as a crime.

Levi Jonathan ShurkeyAn American volunteer fighting alongside Kurdish forces in Syria has been killed during an ongoing offensive to recapture the town of Manbij from Islamic State militants.

Levi Jonathan Shirley, known by his Kurdish comrades as Agir Servan, died on 14 July in Manbij, according to a statement on the official website of the People’s Protection Units (YPG), in whose ranks he was fighting,  helping defend Kurdish-held areas from Islamic State and recently participating in the battle for the northern town of Manbij, which began in May and is backed by  US-led air attacks. El Gas de Fracking de EEUU llega a Galicia: ‘ Mucho peor que el Carbón’..el gasoducto Midcat ‘ha Muerto’..

El 22 de Julio llegó al puerto de Ferrol el primer cargamento de gas de fracking procedente de EEUU.  Según denuncian Ecologistas en Acción, Amigos de la Tierra y otras organizaciones, la llegada del metanero Sestao Knutsen, impedirá a buen seguro el cumplimiento de los ya exiguos e insuficientes objetivos climáticos europeos. Las próximas entregas serán a Barcelona y Sagunto (Valencia).

‘Ni aquí Ni en ninguna parte’ es el lema del movimiento anti-fracking, y genera rechazo el engaño de la importación de gas del fracking de EEUU, especialmente ante las noticias que resulta mucho más dañino que el carbón.

Los últimos estudios de Harvard  dan pruebas que ‘La Revolución del Fracking  es letal para el clima debido a las fugas incontrolables de metano y que ha hecho a perder todas las supuestas reducciones de emisiones en EEUU desde 2009.frackin_7138_11

The US plans hundreds of shipments, taking up to 20% of the euro gas market from their Russian rivals. With state help the enterprises have been busy strong arming and bribing EU companies into contracts, (eg. Galp (Portugal), Royal Dutch Shell and the Spanish Gas Natural. with the Rajoy govt only too eager to help).
