Why you Can’t be a Feminist if you’re Not an Anarchist

Is every feminist secretly an anarchist?

Feminism is not feminism if it is not antisexist, but also must be:

  • Antiracist (for wimmin of color)
  • Anticapitalist (for working class wimmin)
  • Female+Female love-positive (for lesbians and bisexual wimmin)
  • Anti-state (against the state control of wimmin’s autonomy, rejecting patriarchal protection rackets)
  • Anti-hierarchy (against wimmin exploiting other wimmin)

I can’t tell you how many wimmin have been turned away from anarchism — the politics of opposing all hierarchy — due to male violence, male abuse, male threats, male testerics. And that is an awful shame, because wimmin have the greatest chance for achieving anarchy. It’s pretty simple… Forget all your preconceptions about what anarchism is. Forget malestream anarchism with its male fantasies of “let’s kill all the bad people and we will win” because that’s just naive. Men are pretty dumb, let’s be honest. They expect everything to be cleaned up after them. Continue reading “Why you Can’t be a Feminist if you’re Not an Anarchist”

THE ACORN – 34.. Manchester.. Fascism.. CIA.. Assange.. Mining

Posted on May 25, 2017

1. Manchester: an explosion of hate and fear

The vile bomb attack in Manchester on May 22 has left a noxious smell of racism and fascism in the British political atmosphere in the election run-up.

Prime Minister Theresa May was very quick to ramp up the terror alert status to “critical” and send the army onto the streets in a bid to show just how strong and stable she is.

The gesture has a hint of coup d’état about it. Even pro-establishment Guardian journo Jonathan Freedland had to admit that troops  being deployed in the middle of a general election campaign was “new and unsettling terrain for British democracy”. Depraved USA and UK green light Genocide of Millions for Profit in Yemen

We are witnessing an astonishing new level of human depravity in which the US sells $110,000,000,000 worth of arms to the terrorist  Saudi state while actively aiding it in bombing and starving it’s neighbours to death.

President Trump mouthes platitudes of ”alternative truth” in the middle east and is applauded by Western media, the sunni States and even the UN in a veritable cacaphony of hubris and damned lies.

Next day we read of a massive cholera epidemic but no one makes the connection. The coming Yemeni genocide is an object lesson, with the proof open to any blogger in the internet, of the capitalist insanity whereby just one day of arms spending could save the infinite suffering of poverty and lack of health services on the planet.

One  big ubiquitous lie is that President Hadi is legitimate president of Yemen. He lives in Saudi Arabia, he was appointed by Saudi and the US with no other candidate as a 2 year interim president. .. then he REFUSED TO STEP DOWN or implement any of the agreed power sharing reforms, and continues rejecting the latest UN peace plan solely to retain illegitimate personal power. SMASH NATO Warmongers.. callout for Radical Block ..May 24th-25th Brussels

Joint maneuvers of American and Portuguese armies, on 20 Oct 2015 in Pinheiro da Cruz, Portugal.

shared from         On 24 and 25 May, most of the world’s most powerful leaders will meet to discuss war and arming at the NATO summit. Today, NATO has become the weaponized arm of defending the interests of Western capitalism throughout the world and not a factor of security for Europe as we were sold  in the context of Cold War.

We call on all the ungovernable in Europe and elsewhere to join the antimilitarist and anti-capitalist bloc from 5 pm at the Gare du Nord. The next day, at the NATO summit, a “blockage” to disrupt as much as possible the rendezvous of the great powers is also being organized by some associations.

To finance death and suffering, capitalist nations are leading at least two other wars on the rest of the world. A social war is waged within each frontier to make the poorest pay for both the whips that keep them in the rank of exploited but also the massacres of the populations and looting of resources of the countries they call under- developed, constituting a second devastating external economic war. Rojava-inspired Women’s Councils Spread across Europe

RAHILA GUPTA  shared with thanks           Could this little-known system provide a way forward for real democracy – from the bottom up – in our failing neoliberal political systems?

Every time I speak at public meetings in Britain about the gender equality and direct democracy experiment being carried out in Rojava, Northern Syria, I am invariably asked by an inspired audience what we can learn from there – and how can we implement it here.Yekîneyên Jinên in Azad Star (Star-YJA) has communicated the death of the commanders of their militia Nalin Dipo and Helin Murat, from the Free Womens Unit -Ishtar  killed by Turkish bombing of Kurdistan in Iraq between 26 and 28 April 2017

Given the growing consensus in the west about the importance of equal pay and equal representation of the sexes at all levels of employment, one of the basic tenets of the Rojava revolution, co-presidentship – where every institution is headed up by a man and a woman – should not be too much of a hard sell.

Rojava Revolution Plan: Organising and Funding Projects and Volunteers

Yet even co-presidentship cannot be easily replicated within a system like ours which, driven by profit rather that values, might simply discard the idea as untenable on the grounds of cost and over-staffing. After all, the state is being rolled back everywhere; NGOs are scrabbling for cash; and jobshares are simply not the same thing.
