Fukushima worker Leukemia victim Sues TEPCO

A 42-year-old man diagnosed with leukemia after working at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant plans to sue Tokyo Electric Power Co., saying the utility failed to take adequate precautions against radiation exposure.
He will also sue Kyushu Electric Power Co., operator of the Genkai nuclear plant in Saga Prefecture where he had also worked, in the lawsuit expected to be filed at the Tokyo District Court on Nov. 22.
The man, who is from Kita-Kyushu in Fukuoka Prefecture, will demand about 59 million yen ($541,000) in total compensation from the two utilities.
“TEPCO and Kyushu Electric, as the managers of the facilities, are responsible for the health of workers there, but they failed to take adequate measures to protect them from radiation exposure,” said one of the lawyers representing him. ALL finally INNOCENT: 52 Indigenous accused of Bagua Massacre, Peru
52 protestors have been acquitted of charges relating to the Bagua Massacre, one of the bloodiest episodes in recent Peruvian history.
The protestors, many of whom were indigenous, were accused of killing 12 policemen in June 2009.

The massacre, which began as a peaceful demonstration, ended with at least twenty-three police officers, five Indians and five civilians dead, and more than 200 people injured. Unofficial reports suggest that the death toll was much higher.

STANDING ROCK NOW: “A WAR ZONE;” GLOBAL SOLIDARITY SPREADS

EQUIPMENT TORCHED, BARRICADES BURNED IN ND AS #NODAPL SOLIDARITY PROTESTS SPREAD
Solidarity actions are springing up around the country in response to the massive police raid on the “frontlines” camp in Standing Rock against the Dakota Access Pipeline. The eviction saw hundreds of militarized police attack the encampment with armored vehicles, tasers, pepper spray, concussion grenades, LRADS, and good old fashioned bone crushing batons.

In response warriors set up burning barricades, threw rocks, torched several large pieces of pipeline machinery and 2 security vehicles, and briefly invaded an active construction site. The Sheriff is also claiming that molotovs were thrown at police and that there were two incidents involving gunfire. At least one burning barricade was maintained through the night. While the frontlines camp has been evicted, the main encampments are still going strong and asking for supporters to join them. UN VOTES TO OUTLAW NUCLEAR WEAPONS.. TALKS BEGIN 2017
The United Nations today adopted a landmark resolution to launch negotiations in 2017 on a treaty outlawing nuclear weapons. This historic decision heralds an end to two decades of paralysis in multilateral nuclear disarmament efforts.
At a meeting of the First Committee of the UN General Assembly, which deals with disarmament and international security matters, 123 nations voted in favour of the resolution, with 38 against and 16 abstaining.

The resolution will set up a UN conference beginning in March next year, open to all member states, to negotiate a “legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination”. Los últimos estudios de Harvard dan pruebas que ‘La Revolución del Fracking es letal para el clima debido a las fugas incontrolables de metano y que ha hecho a perder todas las supuestas reducciones de emisiones en EEUU desde 2009.
2016: Se ha quedado probado que el Gas de Fracking es ‘ peor que el Carbón’.
El gas de fracking no es un sustituto menos dañino para el clima. Estudios autoritativos de Harvard y Cornell y el estudio del grupo de by Dr Robin Russell-Jones de the ecologist han revelado que es peor que el carbón debido a las fugas incontrolables de metano.
La Bomba de Metano. las fugas masivas de metano puedan en empujarnos sobre un punto de la retro-alimentación de no retorno.
El 22 de Julio llegó al puerto de Ferrol el primer cargamento de gas de fracking procedente de EEUU. Las próximas entregas serán a Barcelona y Sagunto (Valencia).
Gas Natural Fenosa ha contratado para recibir centenares de cargamentos del Gas del Fracking que está arrasando EEUU, causando innumerables cánceres, acuíferos envenenados y una nube de metano visible del espacio que empeora muchísima la crisis del clima mundial.
Además los envíos marítimos contribuyen hasta el 15% de los gases de cambio climático, más contaminación directa de los océanos.
