La Voz De La Mujer ( The Womens Voice) was the first anarcha feminist publication. Here you can watch (in Spanish) a film about their struggle ‘Neither God nor master nor husband’. The article about them in English is further down.

– No God, No Boss, No Husband:
The world’s first explicitly anarchist-feminist group was created as part of the thriving nineteenth-century Anarchist movement in Argentina. It produced the first anarcha-feminist newspaper, La Voz de la Mujer. Sadly, the history of anarchist-feminism in Argentina has rarely been acknowledged, at best mentioned in passing, at worse ignored or forgotten.
La Voz de la Mujer was published in Buenos Aires only nine times, beginning on January 8, 1896 and ending almost exactly one year later on New Year’s Day. Its donors included “Women Avengers Group,” “One Who Wants to Fill a Cannon with the Heads of the Bourgeois,” “Long Live Dynamite,” “Long Live Free Love,” “A Feminist,” “A Female Serpent to Devour the Bourgeois,” “Full of Beer,” “A Man Friendly to Women.”

A large number of Yemeni people are waiting on the coasts of the port city of al-Hudayda in Southern Yemen to welcome the Iranian cargo ship carrying humanitarian aid to the Arab country, FNA dispatches said Saturday.

The residents of al-Hudayda have gathered on the coasts since a few days ago to receive Iran’s medical and food aid.

The people of Hudayda have called on residents of other Yemeni provinces to stage rallies in support of Iran’s aid ship to Yemen and condemning Saudi Arabia and its hostile policies towards their country.

On Wednesday, a senior Iranian health official announced that the IRCS had sent a ship loaded with pharmaceuticals and medical equipment to Yemen.

“A ship carrying a 12-member medical team from Iran as well as over 100 tons of the country’s aid comprising medicine and medical equipment was…

Anarchism, Spontaneous Order and ‘Negative Cause’

How will we ever get enough anarchists together to overthrow the authoritarian regulators? this is the commonly assumed ‘positive causal view’ of anarchism. It appears impossible because we’re thinking back to front.

TTIP Corporate Power Grab BLOCKED …then allowed through as Senators SELL OUT !

LATE NEWS UPDATE

Only 2 days later in a new vote 14 Senators changed their mind after MASSIVE GRAFT AND POLITICAL PRESSURE.

Are the Wheels Starting to Fall Off TTIP?

‘The battle isn’t over,’ writes Dearden, ‘but yesterday’s vote should give campaigners everywhere real hope.’ (Image: Global Justice Now)

In a shock vote for President Obama yesterday, the Senate blocked a bill that would have allowed him to ‘fast track’ trade agreements like TTIP. Although only a procedural vote, the fact that Democrats in the Senate united to dismiss the motion makes it significantly less likely that Obama will succeed, with commentators saying Obama’s trade strategy is now ‘in tatters’.

Illinois Police Get Approval for Drone Use (just don’t call them drones ok?)

By on 05/12/2015 Americas, USA

If it looks like a drone and smells like a drone, it’s a drone. The Illinois State Police was recently granted permission by the  Federal Aviation Administration to use drones. But the police department clearly senses the PR nightmare over their use, because it’s trying very hard not to call a drone a drone.cop drones
