6th DEC. last Update.. unfortunately we were right. Cateel was devastated with at least 28 dead, hopefully the report/warning below, which came out 1 day before and was read by over 3000 people on the net, helped some people escape to safety.
”Davao Oriental Governor Corazon Malanyaon said initial reports indicated that in one town, Cateel, 95% of the buildings had been damaged. Twenty-three people had drowned or were buried under fallen trees or buildings there, she said…..” The massacre toll has risen to at least 500 with more than 400 others reported missing and about quarter of a million people made homeless. At least three cities on Mindanao’s east coast remain cut off after bridges collapsed and roads were swept away by floodwater.The sheer numbers of refugees have overwhelmed the Philippine disaster agencies prompting government to call for international aid to help cope with the mega disaster.The death toll is expected to continue rising.

The 14th of November general strike in Barcelona started in the very first hours of the night, with pickets  closing bars and spaces still open at night in several city’s neighborhoods, such as Gràcia, where more than 300 people managed to shut down bars, while a supermarket and banks were attacked by hoodies.
Earlier, trade unions pickets had blocked the accesses to industrial parks of the metropolitan area, where no activity was reported at all. No one was arrested during the night. As the sun was rising, fire barricades were erected in all city’s points, with police making the first arrest of the day in the Eixample neighborhood. Amigos das três vítimas mortas a tiros dentro de um bar na noite da última quarta-feira (20) no Jardim Boa Vista, zona sul da capital paulista, disseram que quatro policiais militares podem ter envolvimento na chacina. Segundo uma das testemunhas, cuja identidade é preservada por questão de segurança, os policiais militares estavam nas imediações, mas não fizeram nada para impedir a fuga dos autores dos disparos ? dois ocupantes de uma moto. Os quatro policiais que chegaram logo em seguida ao local do crime não ajudaram no socorro às vitimas e ainda teriam recolhido as cápsulas das balas.
“Eles [policiais] estavam na avenida. Eles viram tudo. Os caras [ocupantes da moto] passaram por eles [policiais]. Eles não fizeram nada, porque eles não quiseram. Eles vieram andando pela rua Albino Correia de Campos bem devagar, muito devagar. E nós gritamos para eles virem rápido, para socorrer [as vítimas] e eles não quiseram” contou uma testemunha à Agência Brasil…..
