Indonesia Readies To Ratify Minamata Convention

Climate Action Moreland has joined more than 200 organisations globally in signing a letter to remove 3.5 Gigatons of CO2 emissions between 2025 and 2050 by ending toxic lighting. The letter is targeted at Heads of Delegations to COP4.2 of the Minamata Convention on Mercury.

It would also avoid 232 metric tons of mercury pollution from leaking into the environment between 2025-2050, both from the lamps themselves and from avoided burning of coal in power plants.

The open letter asks that the fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Minamata Convention on Mercury (COP-4) – Second segment – must deliver on its mission to Make Mercury History and phase-out toxic mercury-containing fluorescent lighting.  The meeting is on March 21, 2022.

Australia signed the Minnamata Convention on 10 October 2013, and ratified the convention on 7 December 2021. Read more at the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment on Australia and the Minamata Convention on Mercury.

Spanish State: 41,359 families evicted during 2021, 40.6% more than in 2020 Eng/Esp

Seven out of ten evictions registered in 2021, specifically 28,993, were procedures derived from the Urban Leasing Law (LAU), while 10,103 (24.4%) were the result of non-payment of mortgages and the remaining 2,263 were due to other causes.

Taking only the evictions derived from the non-payment of the mortgage, these rose by 46.1% in relation to 2020.

For their part, the releases derived from the LAU (non-payment of rent) increased by 37.1% over 2020 Catalonia, with 9,398 (22.7% of the national total) was the Autonomous Community with the most evictions in 2021, followed by Andalusia, with 6,615; the Valencian Community, with 6,182, and Madrid, with 4,039. 36.2%

The current decree continues to demonstrate its inefficiency. The data published today demonstrates, on the one hand, the effects of the crisis that we have been dragging on since 2009 and the devastating effects that the pandemic has had on families, since it has increased the housing emergency.

We won’t get out of this jam if we can’t recruit the people that know best how to build big energy at scale, as Saul Griffith notes below, and that’s the existing energy industry. We know that there are a lot of people in the industry that feel trapped and are looking for a way forward. That just might be happening right now.

USA Funded and Controlled Bioweapons Development in Ukraine- Illegal Weapons of Mass Destruction?- WMD

You probably heard already the bizarre information that the Covid Vaccine Guru Fauci himself illegally organised moving US funds to Wuhan for banned ‘Gain of Function’ experiments (ie banned attempts to create more lethal viruses).

Bizarre and frightening. But now we find out the US has hundreds of such illegal biowarfare labs around the world.

And what’s more up to 30 of them are/were in Ukraine, with 2 brand new super expensive ones due to be commissioned in Kyiv, and hurriedly dismantled when the war began.

3 0f them are just north of Kiev right in the area of the great push south from the Belarus border to besiege the capital and ostensibly demilitarize and de-natzify Ukraine. .see maps.

Oh wait! We’ve just spotted a 5th BioLab on the map, just north of Luhansk city, which by now has fallen into Russian hands.

EU BANS search engines and social platforms from “reproducing” content of sanctioned Russian media

I hate the always authoritarian Russian State leaders, but along with millions of Europeans I used to check out RT regularily, because it actually tries to report the news, albeit from a Russian point of view, making mass Western outlets seem like pathetic spam.

Europe Enters Orwellian End Game

Indeed recently RT has reportedly been more popular than than the official German DW channels and recently Germany flagrantly banned its new 24 hour TV channel the day it began. RT’s video channels were hugely popular and I was happy to view in depth scientific and world journalism, withiout suddenly transforming like Dracula into a ‘Putin Stooge’.

Now there’s an existential war in Russia, and RT English coverage is more obviously censored.

Even so they go over the top in reporting Western viewpoints, maybe because they are appealing the EU banning order, and I read various comments with Russian names complaining that RT should be more Russian based.

Compare with any Western outlet brandishing headlines of dubious “massacres” (eg. the great Mariupol ‘Atrocity’ where only 3 were reported killed, and those disputed) and a daily diet of “carpet bombing Kiev” which remains unflattened.

I’m not supporting Russia, but for me the greater danger is that western mass hysteria induced to support the Covid crackdown has been channeled into fanatic irrational war fever, resulting in crazy unprecedented ‘sanctions’ likely to cause a Global crash and World War, with all its consequences. The place of the evil ‘UNVAXXED’ is now taken by the evil ‘RUSSIAN DISINFORMATION’.
