Ecuador – The lovely Scarlet Tanager joins the list of rare birds that drop in for a photo session then move on! This one visited Parque las Vegas on March 31. At first glance I thought it was the ‘common’ Vermillion Flycatcher:
Vermillion Flycatcher
Scarlet Tanager
This bird was quite patient with the impromptu photo session, but it was not until that night that I realized how rare this beauty was in this area. It was the third time for this species to be reported in Manabi Province on eBird: eBird/Scarlet Tanager/Manabi-Ecuador
In nearby La Tomatera, a new eBird Hotspot, several more VIP birds have provided special glimpses, and I continue to find myself Blessed by Birds. The quite rare Black-billed Cuckoo continues to ‘multiply.’ First there was one sighting, thanks to Luis Saltos, then another visit to La Tomatera…
The war in Ukraine has triggered a wave of increases in military budgets, both in the United States and in Europe, for which the essentially American arms industry is celebrating.
But before hostilities broke out, the bosses of the main arms companies were already preparing to increase their sales. In a January this year conference call with his company’s investors, Greg Hayes, CEO of Raytheon Technologies, boasted that the prospect of war in Eastern Europe and other global hot spots would be good for business:
“ We see, I would say, international sales opportunities… The tensions in Eastern Europe, the tensions in the South China Sea, all of those things put pressure on some of the defense spending there. So I hope we get some benefit from it.
At the end of March, in an interview given to the Harvard Business Review after the start of the war in Ukraine, Hayes defended that his company would benefit from the war:
“So I don’t apologize for it. I think once again we recognize that we are there to defend democracy and the fact is that we will end up benefiting from it over time. Everything that’s being shipped to Ukraine today, of course, is coming from stockpiles, whether it’s from the DoD [Pentagon] or from our NATO allies, and that’s great news. Over time we will have to replace them and we will make a profit for the business for years to come.”
Ukraine only provides the dead
The war in Ukraine will indeed be a boost for companies like Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
First, there will be resupply contracts for weapons like Raytheon’s Stinger anti-aircraft missile and the Raytheon/Lockheed Martin-produced Javelin anti-tank missile that Washington has already supplied to Ukraine by the thousands.
However, the largest stream of benefits will come from assured increases in post-war “national security” spending, here and in Europe, justified, at least in part, by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Direct arms transfers to Ukraine already reflect only part of the extra money for US military companies.
In this fiscal year alone, they are guaranteed significant benefits from the Pentagon’s Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) and the State Department’s Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, which finance the acquisition of US weapons and other equipment, as well as military training.
They are the two main channels of military aid to Ukraine since the time the Russians took Crimea in 2014. Since then, the United States has committed some $5 billion in military aid to Ukraine. Everything was planned before the war
On March 31 last year, before the start of the war, the US European Command declared an “imminent potential crisis”, given the nearly 100,000 Russian troops already present along the border with Ukraine.
Late last year, the Biden administration pledged $650 million in weapons to Ukraine, including anti-aircraft and anti-armor equipment like the Raytheon/Lockheed Martin Javelin anti-tank missile.
Since Russia’s war with Ukraine began, we have attended 6 Councils of Ministers in Spain. Little is reflected in them of the actions undertaken by the Spanish State, either for the reception of Ukrainians, or for the expatriation of Spaniards in Poland or in the delivery of humanitarian aid and weapons to the Ukrainian army.
In the image, a steamroller destroys the expired vaccines that the most “generous” countries have sent to the most “needy”. It is nothing more than a reflection of the absurd capitalist society that we suffer from.
Rich countries have spent so much money on vaccines that after striving to inject as many doses as possible into their citizens, they still have leftovers, they store them, they forget about them, they expire and they give them away to the first passer-by to demonstrate their good heart.
It falls under a chapter of public budgets called “development aid” or something similar.
It is an “aid” that can kill you, or at least intoxicate you, unless the WHO or some pundits decree that expired vaccines are also good for your health.
INSERT: In fact the pandemic has affected Africa relatively little even though vaccination rates are extremely low, but no one talks about that anymore, it’s all part of the scam. Like the fact that Covid-19 infections, and deaths are HIGHER around the world in countries with higher vaccination rates. Africa can’t pay won’t pay, despite repeated attempts to roll out the killer vaccines. The fact is that Covid is only really bad for old people. In Africa people already die young, due to lack of basic health care caused by the colonialist debt trap, When just a day or two of the US imperial military budget could give all Africa free health and education.
It is not important, because in certain forgotten countries one more death is hardly even noticeable.
The really dramatic thing is that someone would have died without vaccinating. The NGOs would not forgive that and would twist our conscience with posters at bus stops.
What never expires are the benefits of the big pharmaceutical companies, who have made a killing and don’t care what you do with the drugs.

If you haven’t heard from me in 12 hours or more, put my name on this list.

An old Ukrainian lady telling a kid how things really are — and of course, the kid doesn’t listen.
Notice how she correctly identifies America and Zelensky as the cause of this horrible conflict.
I have been to this Ukraine/Russia border crossing—it’s 40 km to the north of Kharkov—I know it.
This video is 100% accurate.

IS the UK now at the forefront of eugenics? Are the Covid-19 gene-therapy/altering vaccines the gateway to public acceptance of this? And has the pandemic provided cover for a takeover, not by scientific experts, but dangerous eugenicist nerds?
The Government’s head gene-gnome, Chief Scientific Adviser Patrick Vallance, recently spoke to Genomics England (a company owned by the Department of Health to provide ‘whole genome sequencing diagnostics’) on the potential future uses of genomics beyond the fields of healthcare and medicine.
The backbone to his argument was a reiteration of that contained within a report from the Government Office for Science called Genomics Beyond Health, published on January 26, 2022.
It opens with: ‘How would you feel if your genomic information made your car insurance more expensive? If you could find out whether your child was likely to excel at sport or academic pursuits, would you? Should criminal sentencing account for a person’s genomic predispositions? These are just some of the questions that we might face in the not-too-distant future.’
If government nerds are openly discussing such things and publishing their conclusions within the public forum, it means that such novel societal issues are already on their way. And, as befits the soiled morality of the new Petri Dish Epoch, it all reeks of dystopian degrees of experimentation and, well, eugenics.
Unfortunately, as a nation we appear not in the least perturbed by our new role as microbes in the ongoing phase three clinical trial that has seemingly become normal life in Britain; as exemplified by such government experiments as mask mandates, border closures, school closures and work-from-home orders under the still not ruled-out lockdown, alongside the not so experimental fear (‘nudge’ being the euphemism) programme designed to increase adherence to said measures, and the similarly experimental gene-therapy vaccines.
True to form, Genomics Beyond Health, like so many other such pandemic-era scientific reports, doesn’t concern itself with whether or not genomics should in fact have to impact our day-to-day lives at all, but acts rather as a forewarning system – ‘wrap your head around it now, people, ’cause it’s coming whether you like it or not’.
Which leads me to speculate that the current generation of ineffectual and proven-hazardous Covid-19 vaccines are nothing but a means by which – once having wormed their way on to the childhood immunisation schedule – succeeding generations will adopt the future technologies of eugenics by stealth.
Such a long-term objective simply could not be realised if the Medicines and Health products Regulatory Agency addressed its post-vaccination fatality and extreme adverse event statistics, as one would assume would be routine practice in such a so-called civilised society as ours.
The dismissal of these innocent casualties of the Covid-19 Pharmageddon, particularly as this relates to Genomics Beyond Health, lends credence to the Ministry of Defence’s unofficial view – in turn as it relates to the piecemeal augmentation of humans via their fusion with machines – that to help society face down future national security threats such as Disease X, for example, there could be a ‘moral obligation’ to utilise ‘treatments involving novel vaccination processes, and gene and cell therapies’.
Certainly, far fewer would have taken up the ‘offer’ of the current novel vaccination processes rushed out to crush Covid-19 had the number of adverse events shared the front pages alongside the manufactured case rates and spurious daily Covid death tolls.
So it should come as little surprise then, that on February 28, a month after the publication of Genomics Beyond Health, Pfizer published a complementary blueprint for how to help make the UK a world leader in the adoption of cell and gene therapies.
This is a goal they say could be delivered via ‘the creation of a Gene Therapy Taskforce, bringing together key government departments, agencies, and arm’s length bodies to work together on shared priorities and drive reform. This Taskforce should look to mirror the collaborative, rapid and results-focused approach that underpinned the (Covid-19) Vaccines and Therapeutics Taskforce.’
From pandemic to mock-endemicity. From Covid-19 Taskforce to Gene Therapy Taskforce. From unsullied human to mRNA guinea pig. From mRNA guinea pig to gene-edited superior ‘British’ citizen. From the eugenics of medicine to that of human augmentation. From the hangings of the Nuremberg Trials to a questionnaire and a fifty quid fixed penalty notice. And ultimately therefore, from reality to the Metaverse – the ever-changing climates (pun intended) of the Great Reset’s public health aspect.
Instead of addressing whether humanity should be subjected to the moral conundrums of non-health-based genomics in the first place, the report simply discusses to what conveniently loose and vague degree must the practice be regulated. ‘Will we need more regulation?’ it asks, as if it should even have to.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has been accused by his many critics across the world of spewing propaganda in every one of his many appearances, yet up until CNN’s surprising publication of an article on Tuesday, the US-led West condemned any such suspicions as so-called “Russian propaganda”.
Partway through the text, CNN reported the following about US suspicions that Ukraine isn’t telling the whole truth about anything:
“’It’s a war — everything they do and say publicly is designed to help them win the war. Every public statement is an information operation, every interview, every Zelensky appearance broadcast is an information operation,’ said another source familiar with western intelligence. ‘It doesn’t mean they’re wrong to do it in any way.’”
This jaw-dropping disclosure amounts to a complete reversal of the prior narrative whereby it’s no longer so-called “Russian propaganda” to accuse Zelensky of spewing propaganda but is now reportedly the unofficial position of none other than the US government itself.
Not only that, but this is supposedly something that should even be praised, not condemned. That new narrative builds upon the one introduced by NBC News earlier this month when it quoted unnamed US spies who openly admitted to waging information warfare against Russia, including through the spread of fake news speculation.
All of this might understandably be too much for the average Western information consumer to process, which is why the purpose of this piece is to explain the emerging cognitive warfare trend that’s on display in this context.
