It advocates for a radical shift in society’s structure and function and calls for humans to actively fight for the Earth. Paramilitary Spanish Civil Guards have evacuated this morning 83 immigrants who remained in the small island of land in the archipelago of Al Hoceima, and delivered to the Moroccan gendarmerie to most of them.
The eviction occurred this morning and concluded at 4:30, according to the sources, who have indicated that they are 73 persons transferred to Morocco, which is a few meters from shore islet of Spanish sovereignty.
Spain, meanwhile, has arrested 10 immigrants, according to the agreement reached last night between the two countries for the evacuation of Earth Island and the distribution of its occupants, in two groups arrived there last week.
The eight children and two mothers who were in the Earth Island this morning have been moved to Melilla, where they received medical care. It is expected that most leave the hospital today to begin the process marked in the Aliens Act, and from there, the Temporary Centre for Immigrants Prison (CETI) Melilla or a shelter, in the case of minors who traveling alone. Bahrain rights activist Nabeel Rajab acquitted over tweet, still in jail

No clashes occurred at Friday’s march along a three kilometre stretch of a highway west of the capital Manama. Protesters carried Bahraini flags and held up images of rights activist and protest leader Nabeel Rajab, calling for his release. Bahrain, where the US Fifth Fleet is based, has been in crisis since a revolt led by majority Shia Muslims began 18 months ago to demand democracy in the Sunni-ruled kingdom.
A court in Bahrain has acquitted human rights activist Nabeel Rajab of insulting Bahrainis by criticizing the prime minister via Twitter, but remains in jail on other charges, his lawyer said.
Rajab said he had been “subjected to psychological and physical torture” while speaking in court on Thursday, International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) President Souhayr Belhassen said.
Despite complains of ill treatment, Rajab will remain in jail, as a lower Bahraini court later added three years to the veteran human rights on three counts of leading protests. The prosecution further claimed he had incited violence against police. Rajab is set to appeal the later conviction in September.
The date the new anti-squatting law comes into force in English and Welsh law has been set for September 1st. The Advisory Service for Squatters (ASS) have issued a warning and a call to arms: “We are going to need to be more organised and look after each other better. We will need legal back-up available on the street, and people will need help moving quickly and storing their possessions. We need networks, linked up with others resisting evictions and attacks on housing rights.”
