Spain gives 12 Musicians 2 years Jail each for Subversive Lyrics + Rodrigo Lanza jailed Again

translated from La Directa https://directa.cat/       The Spanish National Court has condemned the twelve rappers of the group La Insurgencia to two years and a day of jail each, accused of the crimes of ‘supporting terrorism’ in their lyrics, a sentence that automatically gives jail time. The High Court also condemned them to pay fines of 4,800 euros and nine years of absolute disqualification from public jobs.

During the trial, the Prosecutor’s Office argued that the songs of La Insurgencia “advocate a violent method to combat a system that [the accused] consider unfair”“Now it’s time to appeal to the Supreme Court,” said Saúl Zaitsev, one of the condemned members of La Insurgencia. But this will take years and meanwhile 12 people have their lives destroyed because some government members don’t like their lyrics. And of course many other artists will take note and self censor their work.

The case has been judged by the same  Court that sentenced to 12 years in prison Mónica C. and Francisco S. for the detonation of a ‘large firework’ in the Basilica of  Pilar in Zaragoza,  and is seen as part of the judicial processes against the supposed anarchist terrorism that led to the now discredited and abandoned Pandora and Piñata massive police operations. Christmas Behind Barbed Wire – ‘Cars Of Hope’ Supports Refugees on #Lesvos

   Its time to revolt!

crowdfundingdezember2017englishChristmas Behind Barbed Wire – Cars Of Hope Supports Refugees on #Lesvos

On December 17th Cars of Hope activists from Wuppertal (Germany) and surrounding cities will head off to Greece to support refugees. Some of the Enough is Enough team will join them. The central work will take place on Lesvos.

Part of the group will stay until mid-January 2018. Misery is even harder during the cold season, several people suffered a painful death due to extreme temperatures last year. And the supply situation remains more than poorly: refugees staying in Moria Camp are served food only once a day.

With a capacity of 2000 people, Moria Camp is currently facing the challenge of supplying up to 5000. Other refugees live in one of two additional camps or are completely on their own.

✊🏽 Ashley Judd’s Fiery Fighting Feminist Speech ❤️‍⭐️‍

NASTY WOMAN    from   ..It Is What It Is

“My name is ..  and I am a feminist.

And I want to say hello to Independence Avenue in the back, all the way down to 17th Street, and I bring you words from Nina Donovan, a 19-year-old in Middle, Tennessee.

She has given me the privilege of telling you what she has to say:

“I am a nasty woman. I’m as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheetos dust. A man whose words are a distract to America. Electoral college-sanctioned, hate-speech contaminating this national anthem. I’m not as nasty as Confederate flags being tattooed across my city.

Maybe the South actually is going to rise again. Maybe for some it never really fell. Blacks are still in shackles and graves, just for being black. Slavery has been reinterpreted as the prison system in front of people who see melanin as animal skin. I am not as nasty as a swastika painted on a pride flag, and I didn’t know devils could be resurrected but I feel Hitler in these streets. Hunger Strike .. Anarchist Comrades Pola and Nikos Forced into Hospital

Athens, Greece: Involuntary hospitalization of Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa

Revolutionary Struggle members Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa are on hunger strike since November 11th 2017.

The two imprisoned comrades are fighting against isolation measures; against specific provisions of the new correctional code aimed at repressing them as high-security prisoners; against the proposed detention of high-security prisoners in police stations; against the intended reinstatement of the type C prison regime. They also demand an immediate end of the solitary confinement imposed on Nikos Maziotis (since July, the comrade is kept isolated from other prisoners by a decision of the justice ministry); an extension of visiting hours based on the frequency of visits a prisoner has; appropriate visitation rooms for incarcerated parents to meet with their children.

On December 2nd, Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa were transferred to a hospital outside the prisons due to the deterioration of their health condition. However, the next day both comrades asked to be sent back to the prisons because eventually they were not permitted unhindered phone communication with their child. Continue reading “Hunger Strike .. The Movement for the Freedom of the Defenders of Water and Life of San Pedro Tlanixco, Tenango del Valle, Mexico State, denounces the sentences given to our indigenous Nahua brothers and sister, Lorenzo Sánchez Berriozábal, Marco Antonio Pérez González and Dominga González Martinez. As you remember, since 1989, San Pedro Tlanixco has been defending the water that is born from our forests.  We are defending this water against the capitalist hydra, taking shape here as national and transnational flower-growing corporations in Villa Guerrero that have been protected by the bad governments.  We have been defending our territory because they have imposed a private highway that goes from Tenando del Valle to Ixtapan de la Sal, causing our town to be split in half.

On April 1st, 2003, the president of the Texcaltenco river system and representative of flower-growing corporations of Villa Guerrero died due to a fall.  Since this day, our community has lived through constant attacks on the part of the bad governments and the paid media that have spread the false headline that we had lynched this man.  The truth is that he and his people were in our territory because they wanted to take our water.   It was there when, due to not knowing the trails, he fell and lost his life.
