Act Three  Chapter thirty two

Smash the Prison Gates

‘Also I’m thinking Maxie wants to suicide..’-

Barney narrating

If I live long enough I can tell my grandkids I missed the Revolution because I was at home babysitting Moonbeam.

As if a revolution happens just like that. But it was a watershed, the army being openly humiliated instead of destroying our goods depots, and the soldiers coming over that evening.

Because all the police began to follow suit, country stations were already allied with us, now more were publicly declaring for the Pools Federation.                  ref 8.Collapse of Capitalism Continue reading “Serial of The Free. Ch 32 Smash the Prison Gates”

Cops fail to evict all ZAD airport- Re- Occupation Nov17th

update 17/11..ZAD Reoccupation: 20,000 Re-take Airport Site!
ver castellano más abajo
French gendarmes police have failed to evict all opponents of a project to build an international irport in Notre-Dame-des-Landes, in western France. The area is currently protected swampland and local farmers were among the protestors.

Nantes, France: Call for reoccupation demonstration on 17/11 in the ZAD, where the fight against repressive forces is still raging

To the developers, the ZAD is merely a ‘deferred development zone’ since decades. To fighters, this is a zone to be defended (Zone À Défendre). Either way, the space is located in the countryside north of Nantes, in France. According to the Power, it should make way for industrialist plans, and particularly an international airport of Notre-Dame-des-Landes. The particular mega-project is in the hands of the multinational corporation Vinci, which also provides other ‘services’ worldwide, such as prison facilitiestoll highways, nuclear power stations, and so forth. Runnymede Eco Village.. Occupy in Common

Runnymede Eco-Village

Runnymede Eco-Village is situated in the disused woodland of the ex-Brunel university Runnymede Campus owned by the private property developer: Orchid Runnymede.

We: a group of 15 people, have been living on the Runnymede Campus since June 15th.  The 65 acre campus lies in the Green Belt (although it is designated as a major development site) but since 2007 has lain largely unused.

Orchid Runnymede has been granted planning permission to build ‘luxury homes’, elderly care units and student accommodation on the site.  This plan has attracted concern and criticism from local residents (see this local news article from last year) Continue reading “Runnymede Eco Village.. 13O Spanish Revolution. All Out to Smash State and Market Scam

anarchist umbrella

In recent months, the impact on our lives of the so-called crisis has intensified and politicians show no will or capacity to act upon it. So, we are building our own politics, we are taking the initiative, revealing what is behind the debt mechanism that sustains this big  scam they call crisis.  We declare that:

Debt is neither public or legitimate.

The debt crisis, which only started to affect Continue reading “13O Spanish Revolution. All Out to Smash State and Market Scam”

Spain: anarchist unions call GENERAL STRIKE. Oct31.

Final Update Oct 30th.  the General Strike call for tomorrow will go ahead as a ‘Day Of Struggle’ with direct actions in Catalunya, plus pickets, a partial transport strike, and a demo in the evening. This is an alternative and building resistance. It’s also been backed by the CNT anarcho syndicalist union, (which is quite small as it refuses to cooperate with the State.) Of course these anarchist unions also support the Nov 14th South Europe General Strike!

Update Oct 24th.. Finally the ‘majority’ Unions have called a General Strike for Nov 14th. But the CGT are going ahead with theirs anyway.. let’s see if it works!!

(summary translated by The Free). The big sold out Unions have so far failed to back the Anarchist call but are pressured to do so. All the Unions missed the chance to strike on Sept 26th with Euskadi and Greece and link with Occupy Congress..

Unemployment continues to increase in SEPTEMBER

CGT GENERAL STRIKE CALLED for OCTOBER 31

…..More and more workers in the unemployment line, according to just released by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security with the September data in hand. There are 79,645 new people, an increase of 1.72% compared to the end of August, which reached a staggering 4.7 million registered unemployed in INEM offices, while membership in the Social Security descends by 86,174 people….

If to this we add the precarious labor precariousness of basic rights such as education and health-victims of savage cuts, alongside the dismantling and privatization of basic public services, the picture becomes bleak, and should be considered as a real provocation and insult to our dignity….. Inside Story from Greece.. Solidarity needed

What’s really happening in Greece,  how nationalist Fascism is being used again in Europe, and how it might be stopped with solidarity.

No tolerance to the attacks of police and neonazi; we are together with the migrants. Hands off the Academic Asylum. Students Union of the Athens School of Economics

Summer 2012, a report from Greece

by George Caffentzis via UniNomade

1. Arrival in Thessaloniki. It is July 5 and I just have arrived in Thessaloniki full of questions concerning the political situation in Greece. My trusted and knowledgeable friend meets me at the airport. In response to my impatient questions he immediately begins the tale of what happened in Greece and in Thessaloniki in particular over the last year, as he drives us into the city.
