Nikos Romanos ends strike. World solidarity helps Triumph

After 31 days of hunger strike and thirst strike beginning today the Greek government has yielded to his demands and has agreed to allow leave to study, as Nikos claimed and to which he was legally entitled.With this agreement consisting of about 6 months distance learning from prison first, then exit permits on electronic tracking device to study later, Nikos Romanos abandoned today the hunger strike and thirst having not only jeopardized the Greek state, but having overcome with a historic hunger strike.

Prisoners refuse to leave prison. ‘no work, no hope..’

Alicante prisoners have been refusing provisonal freedom, saying it’s impossible to survive out of jail in the absence of workworse out of prison                                          

The union ACAIP warns that  Valencian prisons do not have enough space for inmates who, for fear of not subsist in the streets, are rejecting the ‘third grade’ provisional freedom.                                                                                       

Inmates do not want to get out of jail. panther%2520abcMANCHESTER, Ky. – Dozens of websites – many belonging to law enforcement organizations – escaped planned destruction and defacement when the FBI arrested high-profile hacker Jeremy Hammond in 2012.

“I was at the peak of my work,” Hammond told America Tonight from a medium-security, federal prison facility in Kentucky. “It’s a shame I got caught when I did.”

The political activist and computer whiz said he had already breached dozens of vulnerable websites and was “halfway finished” with preparations for a full-fledged cyberattack when federal authorities disrupted his plans. He said he was going to launch new online attacks every week. Most of his targets never even knew they were his would-be victims.

Carlos y Carmen -Jail for Striking- Absolución

Carlos and Carmen are two activists from Granada sentenced to three years

and a day in prison for participating in an informational picketing, in the general strike

that took place in 29th of March, 2012. Their last appeal has been denied.

After five months in prison comrades Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar are held under the ‘dispersed special punishment high security isolation regulations in the Spanish state. They were remanded in prison pending trial , accused with the other 3 defendants now out on bail, of belonging to a terrorist organization ,of  ‘accomplished havoc’ and of ‘attempted mayhem’.

Francisco Solar has just been transferred to the prison Villabona in Asturias.
