The Twitter account of Mexico City’s Public Prosecutor’s Office (PGJDF) – the authorities that will be investigating her murder – did not tweet out any solid evidence or possible motives for the murder.

However, they did put out tweets suggesting her lifestyle was the cause of her own death, implying that her romantic relationships, alleged drinking, and her decision to live with her boyfriend, all made her a person with questionable morals. .. ALERTA ANTIFASCISTA! FROM THE TERRITORY UNDER DOMAIN OF BRAZILIAN GOVERNMENT! AN URGENT CALL FOR SOLIDARITY!

On May 2, at eight o’clock, local antifa and members of the Palestinian refugee community from São Paulo, called a protest against an anti-migrant demonstration organized by fascists. We arrived on Paulista Avenue, the main thoroughfare in Sao Paulo with a small group of 15-20 people to shut the demonstration down.

We fought with the fascists and the Military Police intervened on the fascist side. Eventually all the antifa were arrested. Everyone was released from the police department, except four migrant comrades.O palestino Hasan Zarif, dono do bar Al Janiah, detido pela PM após confronto com grupo anti-imigraçãoOne of the Palestinians being arrested Continue reading “Sao Paolo Antifas Disrupt Fascist Anti-Migrant March – 4 still arrested, Solidarity Needed”

Eco-anarchist Marius Mason is Being Moved out of Secure Admin Unit

We are excited to announce that Marius received confirmation yesterday that he will be moving to general population at Carswell.  As many know, this has been a long time coming and a request that Marius, his attorney, his family, and supporters have made repeatedly for him to be moved from the Admin Unit.

In general population Marius will be able to truly go outside for the first time in seven years, without the barriers of razor wire and concrete.  He will also be able to participate in more educational programs and groups.  Carswell’s general population has a large sunny communal visiting room that Marius’ family and friends will be able to see him in, rather than the small enclosed space with its own security detail.  We are also eager to see if Marius will have better control over his own diet. Important! Solidarity and support for the companions of the newly squatting space La Ingobernable (Valencia)Posted on 2017/05/02 by   from La Rebelión de las Palabras  The Rebellion of WordsI receive in the email and I spread the following statement of the compas who are squatting the space of La Ingobernable, a new space of struggle and meeting open at the University of Valencia, squatting for a week and opened yesterday.

The assembly of the liberated space The Ungovernable communicates that after a week of squatting, and to make public this May 1st, the university has responded decisively, increasing private security (in collaboration with local and national police) until leaving us in a State of siege. This means that no person can leave or enter the building, not allowing us to provide any basic supplies such as water and food.

This is a space that the University abandoned its fate for more than 5 years, under the pretext that it was disabled and was a risk to its occupants. Not long ago the Goerlich foundation of architects denied this version, declaring that the space is in perfect condition to be used and reopened again.Image result for la ingobernable, valencia

Even so, from the ungovernable declares that it will not give in to any blackmail or threat, that we are strong and united. May the Ungovernable not be abandoned! Continue reading “Important! Solidarity and Support for new Occupied College ‘La Ingobernable’ ,The UnGovernable (Valencia)”

In their web page we can find an article on the peculiar situation of Makhmur, as well as a brief explanation of the project that they want to realize there:

“Once in Makhmur we will work hand in hand with organized civil society. We will provide support work in the refugee camp and carry out institutional work. We can see how the forms of popular organization work and experience democratic self-government in the first person.

In addition, daily we will monitor our activity via web and social networks. Also during the stay we will make interviews and a series of recordings and photo reports that will allow us to make a documentary on our return. On April 21st, a regular meeting of the Inter-institutional and Multidisciplinary Group (GIM in its Spanish acronym) was held in Tuxtla Gutierrez, following up on the Declaration of a Gender Violence Alert (GVA) issued more than five months ago by the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB) through the National Commission for the Prevention and Eradication of Violence against Women (CONAVIM in its Spanish acronym).

Following this, the Popular Campaign against Violence against Women and Femicide in Chiapas – made up of 21 civil organizations and dozens of individuals – said that “despite the commitments made by state and federal government institutions for the implementation of immediate actions to address the GVA, we point to the lack of commitment in clear and forceful actions to address the multiple complaints presented due to acts of violence and femicide against women in the different regions of Chiapas.”

 It questioned “the lack…
