They break out into discussion, before a cigar-smoking man, with deep furrows of concern in his brow, intervenes.
He decides that they need to create a new day, and that it needs to be something “warm and fuzzy”. Cut to a new scene, where Homer is unwrapping his “Love Day” present, a talking toy bear called Sir Loves-a-Lot, whilst his daughter Lisa fills the rubbish bin full of Love Day wrapping paper. No Dash For Gas ends the UK’s longest power station occupationBy Martin Wainwright The last of 17 climate change campaigners perched on a power station tower for a week have abseiled down to be arrested, ending the longest occupation of a plant in the UK.
The group called it a day after using their 300ft-high platform for a range of stunts to encourage debate on carbon emissions and what they called the government’s “dash for gas”. These included solar panels, a portable toilet and a kite flown to rig up a rope walkway between two cooling towers, and mock last week’s coalition row over windfarms. According to the Power, it should make way for industrialist plans, and particularly an international airport of Notre-Dame-des-Landes. Paid by the greedy immoral US corporations, the US presidential candidates both refused to even talk about Climate
Change, even though it could easily make the planet uninhabitable for humans.
The US public has been willingly convinced by a massive Lie Campaign that Climate Change does not exist.
All the more fitting and ironic then, that monster Hurricane Sandy should erupt into the end of the farcical Election Campaign. Hopefully the victims and relatives of the dead will point the finger at the Climate Criminals.

Last month, Mike Tidwell, director of Maryland’s Chesapeake Climate Action Network and the author of the 2006 book The Ravaging Tide — which detailed the expected rise in extreme weather events that will come with global warming — received a pamphlet in the mail from his insurance company,
Travelers. The full-color flier depicted a typical suburban home with a lashing storm looming on the horizon.
