ATMORE, AL – Over the weekend more than 50 protests erupted across the country and around the world in solidarity with the September 9th nation-wide prisoner work stoppage and protest. Mothers and Families, the outside support organization for the Free Alabama Movement (FAM) rallied with drums and noisemakers outside of Holman Prison while workers kicked off their strike inside. “Officers are performing all tasks” a prisoner texted outside supporters indicating the prisoner work stoppage was successful.

Although the full extent of facilities participating in the strike will not be known for another two weeks, we have received early reports of work stoppage and resistance from Holmes, Gulf and Mayo units in FL, Fluvanna prison in Troy VA, and unnamed units in North Carolina and…

Reported Death Of TTIP – An Abhorrent Political Deception

Reported Death Of TTIP Is Nothing More Than Political Deception Tactic

By Graham Vanbergen | TruePublica | September 9, 2016

The global mainstream media have loudly hailed the stunning success of the peoples uprising against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership or TTIP in the light of its demise. In the last few years protests broke out all over Europe as the unelected bureaucrats steamed ahead with this unpopular trade deal, even after the results of the largest ever consultation study in the EU Commission’s history resulted in a 97% negative response of 150,000 people.

The emerging movement spawned enormous online activism never seen before, culminating in the largest petition in Europe’s history with a staggering collective of over 3.2 million signatures delivered by passionate foot-soldiers right to the epicentre of where the political elite inhabit in the EU. The beating heart of TTIP activism was Berlin, Paris and London. This is not to forget the huge protest effort made by citizens across almost all of the EU’s major cities.

When preparing for TTIP negotiations, 560 meetings took place between 2012 and 2013. Just 4% were represented by public interest and civil society. Unashamedly, the Commission allowed 92% of all TTIP meetings to be dominated by lobbyists and corporate trade associations  Today, these shadowy agitators amount to over 30,000 grey suits stalking the halls of the Commission HQ in the de facto capital of the European Union in Brussels. Spain: Banks steal 38 Billion while Public pay 721 Euros a Year each in Interest

milking-cash-cow-in-spain

The Bank of Spain has acknowledged this week that, so far, it has only recovered 5% of the 51,303,000,000 euros the State ”lent”  the Spanish banks to make them profitable again. Now the agency has admitted to El Pais that in total at least 38,012 million is ‘lost forever’, even though the government promised repeatedly that citizens wouldn’t have to pay for the crisis.images-3

Not only has the public forked out 38 billion to prop up corrupt crony banks but the state could only avoid intervention by putting it in the sacred Spanish Constitution that interest and loan repayments must come before ALL OTHER payments.

So Spain is a now Cash Cow forever.

At least until Capitalism collapses. Despite low or even negative interest rates each Spanish person pays 721 euros each year in interest on the public debt.

The public have to pay, it’s in the Constitution.

As in Greece, Spanish debt is a safe bet for the ECB, the big Banks and the portfolios of the ‘investment funds’ that prop up the already rich around the world. Continue reading “Spain: Banks steal 38 Billion while Public pay 721 Euros a Year each in Interest”

After holding a State Assembly all afternoon in which representatives of the 800 union delegations in the 24 regions of the state of Chiapas participated, teachers of Section 7 of the SNTE agreed not to end the strike and that the protests will continue this Saturday with a large march and occupation of government offices in Tuxtla.

They pointed out in their resolution that the consultation process with rank and file teachers continues, but that the results that emanate…

Support Rojava: Open Letter Signed by all below

”We, intellectuals, writers, artists, politicians and human rights defenders, seek to draw urgent attention to the Turkish state’s invasion in Northern Syria and Rojava.

The Turkish army invaded the Northern Syrian City of Jarablus on 24 August 2016, using anti-ISIS  operations as a pretext. The operation was in collaboration with the Syrian arm of El-Qaida (Jabhat Fatah al-Sham) and groups like Ahrar El-Sham.

ISIS handed over the city, Jarablus, without a single bullet being fired. This is a clear indication that there was a prior agreement between the parties that Jarablus would remain as a base for Salafi
groups. Therefore, Jarablus will remain as a corridor for foreign fighters to cross into Syria to receive training and then to cross back over in order to be distributed throughout Europe and the rest of the world.

From the third day of the operation (26 August 2016) onwards the attacks have been directed at Kurdish Forces, the Jarablus Military Council and the Minbij Military Council. Northern Syria has
been largely cleansed of ISIS by these forces with the support of the international coalition lead by theUS. By attacking these forces, Turkey is both interrupting the fight against ISIS and strengthening ISIS.

Tayip Erdogan and other Turkish authorities officially announced the purpose of the operation, at the outset, as the targeting of Kurdish forces alongside ISIS. Turkish army has engaged in airstrikes and shelling of civilian areas, killing at least 45 in two villages south of Jarablus.
