The current status of the 5 ‘Sabadell’ anarchist prisoners anarchist on July 31. They are at present dispersed in two Spanish provinces (Avila and Madrid) and 5 different prisons under the (anti terrorist punishment) ‘FIES3’ prison regime, more than 1000km from their homes. They have finally lifted the ‘incommunicado’ isolation rule on all of them but they continue with the other restrictions of the ‘FIES’ regime. Greenhouse gas emissions explained, in seven balloons

In 2010, human activity caused 50 gigatonnes of CO2 equivalent in emissions.The emissions were 76 percent carbon dioxide, 16 percent methane, 8 percent nitrous oxide, and 2 percent F-gases.

The biggest emitters were China (23 percent), the U.S. (14 percent), Europe (10 percent), India (5 percent), and Russia (5 percent).

And the primary sources of emissions were energy (35 percent), industry (18 percent), transport (13 percent), agriculture (11 percent), forestry (11 percent), buildings (8 percent), and waste (4 percent). But ammonia can be manufactured from any source of energy including great renewables like hydro-electric, solar or wind power!

And manufacturing ammonia does not involve shifting vast quantities of land from producing food to producing plants for biofuels

Lesbians/singles excluded from Health Benefits, police attack demo

Last Monday a feminist picket was called at the Health Ministry in Madrid to protest exclusion of single women and lesbians from health benefits, the latest neo-fascist law, as well as new restrictions on abortion rights, ,exclusion of violence victims with less than 24 hrs in hospital from statistics, closure of hospirals, etc etc. Men were invited.

Well over 500 people showed up, to a festive atmosphere, but the pòlice aggressively identified people, harrassing old people and then attacked without warning, causing many injuries.
