AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Dozens of Palestinian activists have been organizing the largest media campaign to support the hunger striking prisoners in Israeli jails via different social networking sites.

The campaigners said that next Monday will be an international day of solidarity with the hunger strikers in the Israeli jails, especially the captives Samer al-Issawi and Ayman Sharawna, who have been refusing food for nearly half a year.

Dozens of Palestinian and Arab pages on the social networking sites, as Facebook and Twitter, will participate in the campaign, in addition to the participation of the largest Arab networks, the local radio stations and the Palestinian satellite channels on the social networking sites. Occupy Spain (25s y 15m) make anti Capitalist Constitution

The 25S Coordination group proposed in the assembly in the Plaza de Neptuno Oct. 23 organize a “Constituent Days” in principle for days 6, 7, 8 and 9 December, to start making a new anticapitalist constitution.

The aim is to achieve a minimum agreement to drive a real constituent process in which the people have the decisive voice. Spain. Plans to destroy Wetlands for more Profit

Las Tablas is a vast wetland in Castilla-La Mancha that supports migrating birds and native wildlife. In 2009-10 a government plan to divert water from the Tajo-Segura aqueduct was approved to tackle subterranean peat fires threatening the park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Plan condemns the wetlands, which were recovering after recent heavy rains, to a new crisis

The Plan of the Guadiana is the worst possible choice, condemning the famous Daimiel National Park marshes and increasing the silting up of the Tagus..

With the fierce cuts causing mass unemployment without compensation, 100’s of 1000’s of families evicted for unpayable mortgages, bailing bank robbers to the tune of multi billions, bringing back Religion in school, increasing the military and police budgets while schools and hospitals, clinics and nurseries are closing everywhere….

Sao José evicted Occupy land, Build new village

150 recently evicted families have occupied land owned by the mayor of Sao José (Florianopolis), Djalma Berger, who is accused of rampant corruption. The new neighbourhood has survived all attacks so far due to strong community help.

A new neighbourhood called ‘Ocupaçäo Contestado’ has been born in San Jose! Plank by plank, canvas by canvas, recently evicted community residents in José Nitro are building their homes and their history in a space that bears the name of ‘Ocupaçäo Contestado’.
